Re: Cyberpunk Casanova [Sci-Fi][Thriller][Action][Romance]
Questions 1) Most dating sims require players to master a girl's personal trivia, or appeal to similar viewpoints. How does the game differ in its approach to seduction? 2) Girls usually serve as only eye candy in these games, with simply gaining their approval being the end goal. How much do the wo...

Re: Character development, how in depth do you go?
I tend to avoid things like their favorite food or music, as such information can't really define a person, and is more like mere trivia. I focus on their general mood toward the world and others. What are their biggest dreams, and prime motivators? What do they really fear? How do they prefer to go...

Re: Thoughts on Flashbacks with Choices?
I don't expect choices in a flashback, unless they'll directly affect current events somehow (also, assuming certain said events haven't already been established). Best middle-ground I can think of here, is to make choices that are only dialogue replies. Even then, the replies can't be too defining,...

Re: Luna's Charity Commission!
Try a post on deviant art as well, then. There's always someone looking for a commission there, especially of fan art.

Innovation in Video Game Romance
I'd delete this because the conversation is already getting off topic from what I wanted. But somehow, there's no option to do that, so I'm asking the mods to do it for me. Thank you,

Re: Route Endings?
That's certainly interesting. It helps show that they're not just waiting around for you to talk to them. If you don't engage them, they'll move on and establish other relationships.

Re: Route Endings?
In terms of games overall, I always prefer the second one, minus the bad endings. To me, bad endings are "game over" screens that don't play until it's too late to reload and try again. I think too many writers underestimate the complexity of branching dialogue, and branching routes. There...

Re: For anyone who wants to learn coding for free
I've used that site to try and learn Python, so I could better use Ren'Py. If you don't like lectures or textbooks, this is a good method to start learning. You can use the codecademy labs to run and test various types of codes, without having to install any software. Two important notes about this ...

Try posting on /r/visualnovels on reddit to gain extra traffic to your campaign. Can't promise you'll get a lot, but it will definitely help gather attention. Here's a link below.

Re: Looking for writer for Divinity Divide!
Is there anywhere we can read more about the story, or concept? If not, could you expand more on the story please?
Also, any specific requirements when applying for the writer position?
