Re: Google Play

I was wondering this as well. I've found a few Android VNs, but many of them seem to be otome VNs.

I recently played a very short one called Reaching Out. It's a KN, actually, but yeah.

I also downloaded another one called Wintertale, but I haven't started it yet.

Re: Analogue: A Hate Story

I got the game on Steam a while back. It is very much a pure visual novel, despite one "command-line" segment. The UI is quite nice. And, of course, it has an excellent story. I should go back and finish the *Mute route. The success of Analogue does make me hopeful that more good VNs will ...

Re: Official Megatokyo visual novel

Wait, it's actually happening this time?

Well, since it surpassed its initial fundraising goal, let's hope this actually gets made.

Re: Guestbook

I think you meant "latter", not "former". I doubt anyone's praising the crappy dating sims of the 90s. Have you played 999? It's the prequel to VLR. Anyway, VNs are a medium, not a genre - and, like any medium, it's 90% crap. There are some excellent ones, though. Hah! Indeed I ...

Re: Guestbook

Hello! I'm Papa Whiskey and I'm actually not a huge fan of visual novel games, but I'm fascinated by the genre and I'm currently working on a different take on the concept. A simple Google-search later and I found this forum and figured that I might pick something up that'll be useful for the game ...

Re: Selling securely?

I can "understand" why game designers might want to use DRM, but that doesn't make me dislike the DRM itself any less. If you're going to have DRM of some sort, the service connected to that DRM needs to provide some benefit to the user. (See Steam, as an example. It lets you play any game...

I'm not new to Lemma Soft - as you may notice from the join date - but it has been years since I last posted here.

How are you all doing?

Wait, you're (soon) no longer making VNs? I shall miss your awesome VNs once you're done... You better stick around the forums, though :)

Re: The Cute, Light, and Fluffy Project

Apparently I never played it after I downloaded it oh so long ago. Also, the links in the OP (well, the first one and the mac one, anyway) don't work, but I was able to download it from the Ren'Ai Archive page for The Cute, Light, and Fluffy Project.
