Visual Novel downloadable websites?
Our team has recently completed our first English language VN and we've submitted it to Steam's Greenlight and also Visual Wordplay's Google Play site. But what other websites do creators know of that distribute VNs for sale and download?

Re: Programmer for Hire!
Highly recommend DragoonHP! He created a Maze Puzzle for our upcoming VN, Sorority Sister Sleuths: London Calling. He works fast and always has the best interests of the project in mind. Very affordable rates, too!

Re: Programming a Feed the Ducks type game?
The ducks would spawn from either the left side or right side of the screen randomly. Some ducks would swim faster than others and remain motionless for longer or shorter periods of time. Probably no more than 2 or 3 ducks on screen at a time. The art for both the background, the swimming ducks and ...

Re: Programming a Feed the Ducks type game?
Here's additional description for the mini-game functionality: Instructions: Birds will swim across the screen. When a bird is ready for bread, it will look up and beg. The player must click/tap somewhere along the same y-axis as the bird in order to drop a breadcrumb down from the top of the screen...

Re: Programmer for Hire!
Have you ever built a maze puzzle using Ren'Py? I'm looking to include a Robot in the Maze puzzle in my upcoming VN and would be interested in hiring someone to build it for our team.

Programming a Feed the Ducks type game?
Does anyone here have experience with programming a "Feed the Ducks"-style game using Ren'Py, similar in style to this:

Renpy Android SDK error
I am trying to create an android build of my VN using Ren'Py 6.99.10.1227 and when I try to Install SDK & Create Keys, I get this error message: "I'm compiling a short test program, to see if you have a working JDK on your system. The JDK is present and working. Good! Apache ANT has already...

Tower of Hanoi-type mini-game?
Has anyone seen a posting of Ren'py code for the classic Tower of Hanoi game (see attached screenshot) that could be incorporated into a VN? If so, could please you send me a link?

Re: Programmer for Hire!
Still available? I have a project that is over half complete but my current programmer is MIA. The GUI code has been completed but needs to be integrated into the overall VN. A final mini-game needs to be inserted into the narrative (I have a free Ren'py example code that we can use, but just need t...

Re: Professional Programmer looking for work [Paid, Trade]
OK, nice to know. It's the most easily eliminated mini-game from the story, so I think I will probably do that! Thanks for your input!mobychan wrote:Apart from the throw animation I guess it's doable, but since the mathematical bases are quite rich it would be expensive.

Re: Professional Programmer looking for work [Paid, Trade]
If it's possible and how much I would have to charge depends on how exactly you want it ^^ how exactly should throwing be handled? just clicking somewhere on the dart board? some kind of power gauge and location gauge(s)? how should it look? (showing how the dart flies could be somewhat complicated...

Re: Programmer Ren'Py [Free & Paid]
Thanks for the information, Darim.
Do you consider number slider, hidden object, dress up, photograph assemble, or pipes mini-games too complex? I've seen postings from other programmers for examples, but am having trouble with my limited programming skills integrating them into my VN.
