Re: Runtime crash...Help?
don't mean to double post, but want to draw attention to the following tests: downgraded to 6.12.0 and crash still happens(reason why I updated to 12.1 also when it first started happening) down graded to 6.11.2 and crash no longer happens. I cannot get it to crash on any platform. will have testers...

Re: Runtime crash...Help?
here it is. I had to recreate the error, this time it happened while nothing was happening after the text had finished(forced finished by click), and my character ended a blink cycle. new error code to go with the log, it only changes the exception code i think, but just to be safe. Problem signatur...

Runtime crash...Help?
Right, I have no idea what is going on to cause this. my code will randomly crash at any given time, i cannot repeat it to happen at the same place. it happens while I wait to click to continue, or while the text is being shown on the screne. I am using 6.12.1, it was also happening with 6.12.0 aswe...

Re: *HELP* Sprite-related questions
What I learned that works for emotions. split up the files!
make a base, then have a file for eyes, mouth and brows. so you can layer them together in renpy to make the finished sprite. this is amusing you won';t be changing the body any for each facial change.

Re: What kind of sprite's length do you like and why?
When I did single sized sprites, I did thigh and up, depending on the character's height. I prefer drawing the whole sprite head to toe however and resizing and recropping to fit the desired size range. I have 3 set sizes: far; which is thigh and up, Close; which is waist and up and side image; whic...

I must say, your voice acting is impressive. I don't have any script formally finished yet, so I'll keep you in mind.

Re: Help with making outlines in Photoshop (Elements)
One thing I do is create a mask using the lineart image. you fill the top most layer in pure black, then use the lineart image as a mask template, so that when the mask is created it'll be just the lineart showing. it'll make transparent the white and avoid that gray mess on the lines. and then it's...

Re: Always Remember Me (VN/Life sim, commercial)
I must admit. I only glanced at this game. the art is pretty but nothign drew me into it. Untill the amazing Vee posted her singing the song. I had to take a double take when the song was "remember me" I was like "no WAY". I'll deffinalty check out the demo. I'm not to sure i can...

Re: A question about character art/sprites
I have my own idea abut this subject. Personally, i'm one of those slow artists. in order to do one sprite fully, it takes me roughly 5 days of work. this include: 1 pose, 4 sets of clothes, and about 30 expressions(broken down into pieces, 5 mouths, 5 eyes, 4 brows. ect). Course, I end up refinemen...

Re: Musician looking for a group
I will say, I do enjoy your sample. was that really made within 30 minutes? I cannot use FL studio for the life of me. I am in need of a musician, or even just a sound guy for placement of correct music(example, scene 6 needs mp3 7). My project has not been posted on the forums just yet due to waiti...

Way to check amount of space/characters?
So i'm making my battle ui
I have name plates with only a set amount of Text room. What I am looking for is a character count type function. so that instead of the letters going off the space. it'll go "..." at the end of the character limit i set.

Re: Ethnicities in VNs : A Question! :O
Well, personally i'm all for games set in places other then japan. For example, my game is set in England, and the cast is all different, and even then I try not to use stereotypes, if I do it's against the flow(or in a way that's important to the game in some way).
