Re: Need coder to port finished Ren'py VN to Steam
I have found someone for the port. If you are experienced in mobile ports, or want to try porting to the Nintendo Switch or another platform like that, you can also DM me.

Need coder to port finished Ren'py VN to Steam
Hi, I am looking for a coder who is experienced in porting completed VNs to Steam. I want to port my finished game To the Edge of the Sky to Steam in April, and maybe add a few achievements, nothing bigger than that at the moment, but I'm already quite swamped with work, and haven't done it by mysel...

Re: Game completely broken: TypeError: __init__() takes exactly 5 arguments (4 given)
game/script/0_general/customStatements.rpy is the problem. It's using an undocumented internal of Ren'Py that hasn't been updated to the newest version. I'd suggest avoiding using undocumented internals like that, to prevent a problem like this. Thanks, can confirm it was this...I had to replace th...

Game completely broken: TypeError: __init__() takes exactly 5 arguments (4 given)
Hi, I am pretty much a complete newbie to programming still, usually working alongside more experienced programmers for the past few years. I'm not sure how to explain my problem well, as I'm at a loss. I have been developing my game for awhile, and it suddenly has been crashing when I went to add a...

Re: [OPEN] Programmer for Hire! Also, Ren'Py to HTML
DragoonHP works with Aeon Dream Studios on all of our current projects, including mobile ports. Our most well known game, To the Edge of the Sky requires somewhat complex code compared to the average, staight-forward Ren'py VN, because of maintaining different versions on all possible platforms and ...

Need Programmer to port existing game
Hello, we have an existing PC and Android game, To the Edge of the Sky. We're looking for an experienced programmer who could help us with an iOS release. We've applied to be an iOS developer but are still waiting on the final confirmation. Aside from that, we're looking for a way to get translation...

Re: Is it worth having a Mobile version for your game?
We're porting our VN, Mystic Destinies over to mobile right now. Steam support has been good. It's been a headache, actually, just to get it on Android. Lag and random crashes and screen jumps. Can't say why specifically, as I'm not the programmer, but it's not as simple as we had hoped. Gonna try ...

Re: Do you write a VN like a novel or a screenplay?
We write ours like a screenplay. We've come up with our own ways to indicate things, but largely we use parentheticals for expressions and any other directions. Multiple choice selections are written in a consistent format using "text" formatting.

LF exp'd semi-realistic artist for Mystic Destinies
Hi there, Star Maiden Games is looking for an additional artist to assist with CGs for Mystic Destinies: Serendipity of Aeons, a game in-progress that's already available on Steam . You will need to be able to mimic our lead artist's style and be at or above her level. You must be confident in your ...

Re: Mystic Destinies: Serendipity of Aeons otome demo
Thanks for the detailed feedback! Regarding MC expressions - she actually has the most expressions out of any character (probably around 30 so far). She is just not that expressive of a person unless there is reasonable cause. Though some of it might be early writing getting used to working with her...

Thanks so much for the feedback Philip! It's seriously encouraging when you're undertaking a large project like this. I shared your comment with my whole team. Thanks for brightening our day! We're all excited to release too. We can't wait to share our story. We are looking at a very early February ...

Re: Mystic Destinies: Serendipity of Aeons (New Game)
Thank you so much for the review! I can understand where you are coming from. It was very frustrating to have to choose between having to focus on the guys or the MC but in the end we only had so much time to devote to the prologue so we decided to focus on MC since people like her so much. Please r...

We just joined to host our demo: http://starmaidengames.itch.io/mystic-d ... y-of-aeons I'm nervous because I hope that's okay, though it is free and has about an hour or so of game so maybe?
