Re: All about Main Characters!
It's kinda like the older jRPGs. Where the main character often was a mute, personalityless blank slate besides looks and abilities. Like Chrono or The Hero from Secret of Mana. I always found it harder to relate to characters like that, not easier. I much prefer main characters who have a unique pe...

Thanks for the response. ^^ One of those things alone wouldn't be enough to bug me but everything combined makes it very frustrating to try and play. Which is sad, since I really enjoyed MS and I was looking forward to playing this one, too!

Re: Animes you just can't stand
Dragon Ball Kai is actually a pretty enjoyable trip down memory lane (for me) instead of "OH GOD ARE THEY STILL ON NAMEK?!". Oh yeah and I hate Strawberry Panic, seeing as I'm the biggest Marimite fan and too many people claim SP is better than Marimite when it's really just Marimite dumbe...

Kannazuki no Miko. I can't stand it to begin with, and people talking about it like it's good yuri makes me want to wring their necks.

Re: [WIP] Revenant
Just a note to say that this is still going. The general storyline is almost done, we're just working on making sure the final chapters are good and not disappointing and generic. When the rough script outline is done I'll get on with making more art, I'm holding off for now since I don't want to wa...

Re: Anyone Know How to Recover Corrupt .psd?
Tried loading it into ACDSee32, hoping that it'd be less strict and would show something useful. It did pull up a window, but everything in it was garbage and noise, unfortunately.
Save often and in iterative versions, I guess. That's how I normally do it, too paranoid about losing work.

I took "strictly GxB" to mean... well... strictly GxB. But thanks to the magic of winky smiley I'm now even more excited!Aleema wrote:Who said there wasn't?Eniko wrote:(slightly disappointed about there not being at least a token GxG option though >_>)

Re: ___ End
Tangentially related... aren't randomized events a pain when it comes to trying to see everything a VN has to offer? Any randomized event with a less than 100% chance of happening runs the risk of never happening on a playthrough at all, frustrating the player who needs it to achieve a certain endin...

Re: MorningStar Zwei (NaNo 2009 late release) v1.2
Having a few problems with this one as far as the engine goes. I've ticked "wait after each line", but it doesn't. Which means during the intro the text goes too fast for me to follow. I tried scroll wheeling around, but then it wouldn't scroll down until it had scrolled all the way up. Th...
