I just had the same problem on a project I was working on, and since this post still isn't solved I thought I could share my solution.
Try setting the xmaximum on your bar to the size of the actual asset. It worked like a charm

I actually figured out what was the problem on my own in the meantime, and yes it was the size of button which I completely forgot about once I added backgrounds to the button. -.-
