I really like the art design, the characters look very charming and it also has a certain roughness to it that I like. I also think the color palette in the examples screenshot looks good.

One thing I noticed is that the sprite looks slightly slanted, like the character is leaning backward, I tried turning the image and it looks a bit more natural.
