Question about menus and rembering user choices.

I don't know why it does that, or maybe it's just because i'm new at this, but how come.. when I give the user a menu, and in that menu i include a point change, the ren'py script pops up and says NameError: name 'xx_points' is not defined heres how i put of the variables label start: $ xx_points = ...

I'm sorry if this sounds like an old question or not, but what I did was I took a picture of a regular old background in real life with a camera, to use it on for the VN, but when I tried to show the image, it was so large that the game only showed what it can see (it was so large it only focused on...
