I can't recommend JayTee enough, his work is amazing and his involvement on the project Cosmic Raven has taken the quality of the game to a whole nother level. If you're looking for someone that will be an active part of the team, do amazing work and boost your project than you need to work with him.

It took me awhile to get back to trying out everyone recommendations, but they really helped and I made a lot of progress, and learned, which was what was most important. Found an artist

Like KittyWills said, try Audacity. Any time I need to convert formats this what I use and it gave me any problems, you can also boost the audio if needed.
