I just wanted to hop by to say that she's a very talented artist and very nice to work with. I've had her draw two chibis for me so far and I have to say the quality is superb as well.
Everything you want from an artist: Great art and friendly (and clear) communication. =)

Re: Character Artist for Commission
I asked her to do a commission for me, and I'm very happy with the results. :D Definitely a great artist (as you can see from the examples) and a very friendly one to boot. She gave me exactly what I asked for, was very accommodating with changes (though there were only a few) and filled in the blan...

Re: Keeping everything together, instead of spread apart.
If you want stuff to be initialized before the game actually starts, then can't you define the "pre-run" stuff in init blocks? As far as I know, I think you can put those anywhere (not inside a label) and they will run before the actual rest of the game runs. At least, if you need to defin...

Re: Live Composite with optional stuff
Oh, you mean making one conditionswitch for the blush (or not), and if s_blush has a value, use one of the composites (with blush) and if it has no value use the other composite (without blush)? That would perhaps be possible. I was messing with the conditonswitch INSIDE the composite but I didn't c...

Live Composite with optional stuff [Solved]
So I was trying to switch from static sprites to a livecomposite setup because my artist went out of their way to not just deliver me some nice characters, but also the PSD files with several interchangeable poses. SO... now I feel compelled to use them (which would obviously give me lots of options...

Re: Name my game (for money)
Magics, murders & monstergirls. (Or just "Magic, murder & monstergirls" without plurals) Well, that was the best one I could come up with. It tells the genre is "fantasy", that you can expect romance with monstergirls (I mean, what else would you expect with that in the t...

Re: Can you assign your main character two names?
In the choice menu, if you choose the default name option, it will just not change anything. Since you have never given player_name a value, it will not be "Heidi" but just a blank "None". The "Heidi" part in the code you set is only for what is automatically in the tex...

Re: "if var_X:" vs "if var_X == True:"
I see, I see. In that case, I will try to turn all my variables that only have 0/1 into false/true (since that is what I'm implying for myself anyway) and then just use "if var_X:". Not really necessary, but it's better to start using the "correct" way sooner than later, since ot...

Re: "if var_X:" vs "if var_X == True:"
Ah, so simply said, writing " if x == True: " would technically be " if (x == True) is true, then proceed " from a coding standpoint? That does seem a bit silly indeed. Never thought the answer would be that simple. Good thing I asked, for now I know. =) It is common style to hav...

"if var_X:" vs "if var_X == True:"
So I'm not sure where to post this, since it's not really a "help me with renpy" question but rather a "why does this standard exist" question. However, this is the subforum where most of the coding questions are asked, so I'll just post it here. Or I would have to make an accoun...

EDIT: Well, Philat already answered, so this post is mostly non-relevant. But hey, I typed it out already so here you are. XD Plus I always explain every step, even if they seem obvious, just for other users that might also take a look at it. So that's why I included the explanations for the button ...

Re: High Quality Anime Character Sprites / CG for Commission
Heeey, great art. I love how you make such colorful expressions with just different arm-poses (and facial, of course). The pillow pictures are really great quality too! It's not really the style I'm looking for (and I've already started something with someone else for my current project) but I hope ...

Re: Y;N [Mystery & Psychological Horror, inkl Point&Click]
I played through your game and I had a great time. Story: It was good. At first you're really confused about what is going on (obviously intentional) but it doesn't take long to realize what you're supposed to do. Even then, most of the MC choices make sense and while I won't go into the mystery its...

Holy moly. Your art is very beautiful. The details on the dark-haired goth character are very intricate. The frills, patterns and the overall design are lovely. One of the very best I've seen on this forum. Your other characters are also very beautiful (the angel one is cute, haha). Anyway, I just w...
