Is adding a band name to a photo a derivative work?
There are many photos online that are under CC2 license. For example this photo. Can a musical artist or band use that image as their album cover and add their band/artist name to the photo? Would just adding a band/artist name be a derivative work? If a band wanted to use this photo for their album...
