Re: Running a function from within dialogue
Thanks enaielei. Something like those solutions looks like what I'm after. I couldn't quite get them to work, but I'm not the best programmer and will keep trying. And thank you too m_from_space. That's the solution I was going with when I decided to ask here. It does work, but it's kind of clunky a...

Running a function from within dialogue
Hello, sorry if this has been asked or is obvious, but I couldn't find anything. Is there a way to run a function within dialogue like there is to use a variable? If I want a variable it's as simple as: e "This will display a [variable]!" But trying something similar for a function doesn't...

[Solved] Transform a Screen on click
Hi everyone :) Sorry if this is obvious. It seems like it should be, but I've had no luck searching and have been beating my head against the desk over it. How might I go about getting a screen (in this case an imagebutton) to perform a transform simply when I click on it? I don't want it on show, h...

Re: Changing dialogue location for each character
I've tried out both of your suggestions Per K Grok. It's a bit tough to contain each line of text nice and neat in the speech bubble so I'll have to fiddle around to see what looks best, but otherwise they do exactly what I was hoping for, so thanks! Thanks for the link trooper. That'll come in hand...

[Solved] Changing dialogue location for each character
Hey everyone :) So I've made things difficult for myself and opted out of the traditional dialogue box and instead am attempting to go with speech bubbles. Given that my sprites come in different sizes, heights and positions, I would need the speech bubbles, and the text within, to be uniquely place...
Re: Guestbook
Hi everyone! I'm Arti. I'm a fledgling hobbyist looking to learn more about Renpy and with any luck make something neat with it. I joined a while back apparently but forgot all about it :? I can draw and write, but can't program to save my life so I'm shamelessly hoping to make use of the questions ...
