So sorry. I made this account a while ago and forgot I didn't use my primary email.

I've sent a reply from my proper email. Hope to hear from you soon.

Re: Comedy Script Writer Wanted

The writer above wasn't able to speak with me via Zoom calls. I really need someone comfortable with table reads and live revisions via voice. I have noted that this is a paid gig. Compensation will be negotiated. Thanks for your interest! Hi there. Am able to talk via Zoom, how do I go about conta...

[PAID] Comedy Script Writer Wanted

Hello, I'm creating a comedic visual novel (a demo exists) and am seeking collaborative help with revising a currently 50-page screenplay. The first thing I need is help table reading and revising it with me live (preferably via Zoom). If it works between us, this will lead to further work finishing...

Re: Stuttering Animation Between 2 Points

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure I understand your goal, but I think I have a vague idea. Now I've almost never used ATL myself, so I'm by no means an authority on the subject. But I think you're overcomplicating the problem. What you need to do is do it manually. Analyze the sound file yourself. Write d...

Re: Stuttering Animation Between 2 Points

this is just a thought, I don't havr time or tools to test it. Is it possible to define a small movement on the print that increments by 1 per (time), then a time variable for how long it takes, then add a randint function to randomly apply a different time? Did you understand that? Somewhat, and I...

Re: Stuttering Animation Between 2 Points

I believe, you'll have to define each stutter point for a single sound loop pass (then loop animation), unless you know a good signal processing library in Python and can use it. I'm not expecting Renpy to analyze the sound file, but I think you've led me to my answer! Still interested if anyone ha...

Stuttering Animation Between 2 Points

I'm currently developing a game and have come to a scene where I want to animate something coming out of a printer. I'd like to stutter the movement in rhythm with the sound loop I've created, but doing so without defining each point of the stutter is beyond my knowledge of ATL. Any suggestions? Tha...

Re: Distribute/File Error w/ Build

I literally didn't know how the game build works. I believe I fixed it. Pro tip: don't store your source files in project folder. This design makes it difficult to organize the project files compactly/logically, IMO.

Distribute/File Error w/ Build [SOLVED]

Total noob trying to make his first demo build. My searches didn't yield anything looking similar. I just updated, but I'm unsure if that's related. Please let me know if additional information is needed, and thanks in advance! I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred. While running game code: ...

Re: Animating the TextBox in Ren'Py?

Bumping this because I just had the same thought. Tried out some different transitions for window_show_transition and window_hide_transition, but the game just lagged and the text just popped up.

Re: [Tutorial] Customizing Menus

So am I the only one that started using the code in this tutorial and then updated Renpy only to be a bit sad yet happy about the new GUI script?
