Re: '<3'
...I can't explore Linux based files. Linux support is very much in the packager, I just can't do that final step because it's not my OS. If it's opening the tar.bz2 file 7-Zip works great. It's mostly just a windows app though, so if you use Mac it probably wouldn't help. Thanks for posting a Linu...

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)
I'm planning on making the hedgehog be rather jaded, curious, easily bored, and very loyal to the few who manage earn her trust. Her jaded nature would be mostly due to being rejected by several previous "owners" and her anger towards the scientists. This is about the third different perso...

Re: How many people here likes kinetic novels?
I prefer being able to make choices, but if they're well written I have no problem with KN's. when I feel like the protagonist has different motivations for making a choice than I do, I start to feel disconnected from the story. This will kill anything for me. If I think the main character is behavi...

Thanks for re-uploading it.
It was quite interesting. I'm looking forward to Arc II.
My favorite character is definitely Ryrui.

And now it's down. Rapidshare says it needs to be moved to a collector's account or a premium account, or re up-loaded.Sakurazaki wrote:Linux version up!

Re: '<3'
Definitely an interesting game. A bit short, but quite fun. (My favorite ending was Lilly's.)
The only thing I didn't like was the absence of a Linux version, but thankfully the windows version works fine with wine.

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)
Okay, first of all it's not just for you. EVERYONE will be using the same music. I know. I was just wondering if any plans had been made as far as what particular music we would be using, and indicating that I didn't have any suggestions for any specific types of music. but depending on the story, ...

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)
The only thing I can think of to add to the list of backgrounds would be the front of the house (viewed from the street). Besides backgrounds, I'll probably just need a crate (and the hedgehog obviously). What about sound effects and music? I could use a sort of *wump* sound (and possibly some other...

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)
I imagine collars would be optional since these "pets" would be inteligent enough to know not to wander off too far or for too long (unless they were mad at their caretaker). Thanks Sapphi and LVEUR for being willing to help design the selection screen. Visual art is not one of my strength...

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)
That was my first idea, the problem is that, while I know some html, I don't know how to make it look nice/professional/real/whatever. Of course if someone can make a page that would work (or find one that has a good layout that I/someone can edit) then it would be a simple matter for me to turn tha...

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)
Rough draft of possible selection screen: http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/5341/petselect.th.png Obviously It'd be update to reflect the actual list of pets that will be included once that gets settled, and of course we could have an intro or something before the selection screen. Oh, currently, i...

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)
Vector_matt: Perhaps just mention that you give her your coat/sweater/hoodie/whatever for now. Hmm... I suppose that might work. I'll give it a shot. Thanks. Also, anyone have any ideas as to what to name this project? I've got it in a folder called "Non-Allergenic" but, at the moment, th...

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)
Any chance the hedgehog could have smuggled a sweatshirt, t-shirt, lab-coat, something, along with her somehow? I understand that the people running the place probably wouldn't have bothered to supply clothing, but I'd personally be too embarrassed to write her as starting with absolutely no clothin...
