Re: Hetero is boring!

less angsty, less set on everybody-and-their-dog-is-gay paradises and with less smut! I'd be more willing to read gay stories without all that, lol. I agree (tho I'm a sucker for angst) Also, I wish more gay manga/anime/whatever characters were over 20. I'm 'only' 18 myself, but I have a hard time ...

Re: Do you draw/write solely for fun?

a question of whether you create "for fun" or "as a job" is senseless to me. Do you eat and breathe for fun or to keep making money? It's just your nature. Um. I don't think it's senseless, because there is big difference between drawing/writing whatever you like to upload for comments and working ...

Re: My Resident Evil doujin-game idea! (BL)

This sounds really interesting. I watched the Resident Evil movies but never played any of the games. And, I'm an avid BL fan, so I simply must support your endeavor! It seems like you know enough about the series to make a worthwhile game out of it. I'll be waiting! (: Thank you! + Yeah I'm a RE n...

My Resident Evil doujin-game idea! (BL)

Been talking about this for some time, so I figured I should make a proper post about it. The game will be about Albert Wesker and William Birkin during their time as Umbrella Employees. The game starts in 1977 and follows their lives until the mansion incident in 1998. 21 Years. Because this is a l...

THAT'S THE SPIRIT <3 Art is fun, I love it and I want to use it - that line made my day. I love your enthusiasm <3

Do you draw/write solely for fun?

... or do you want to become a professional in the future? I've dreamt of becoming a professional artist all my life - But many highly skilled artists draw exclusively for fun! So I'm interested to hear; do you want to make money or just show off your skills and have fun? Being a "professional" can ...

Re: Writing from opposite gender's view

Personally, I think we're very much alike. Girls and boys. I'm a girl but I'm not very sensitive, I don't worry about small things, I hate shopping clothes and I don't know sh*t about soap operas. These facts doesn't automatically make me lesbian or a tomboy. Girls can be so different I'm sure a man...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

I've re-outlined and started to color my earlier piece... ^_^; It's awful coloring, but it's a start, I guess. HOW CUTE! What is she holding? Is it a watermelon? From CG experience I'd say focusing one thing at a time is the easiest way to learn. First ALL base coloring, then ALL shading, then ALL ...

Moomin is so great! In the Swedish version, they speak with a finnish accent. Finnish is cute, but Finland-swedish is just -extreme-
Almost as cute as clouds crapping rainbows.

Re: The first anime you ever saw?

Can't say what I first saw, since I think I saw a good deal of kiddie anime in german tv as I kid. But the first one I became an obsessed fan of was Nagareboshi Gin :P (Or "Silver" as it was called here). Didn't know the term "anime" back then though, only that it was japanese. Aaah the memories. T...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Terve Rane! (Saw you're from Finland. Many of my relatives speak finnish <3) I see you like L from Death Note; so do I. Anyway, you shouldn't worry too much about the shading, what you really need to improve is your eye for proportion. I'm NOT saying "YOU SUCK" - I'm saying better proportional under...

I get happy from looking at your pictures, because I can see you really love drawing!
But - you have to watch out for the headshot trap. Dare to practice drawing full bodies - not just heads/torsos. Proportions are the key.
