Having Attribute Error where defined object is saying it has noa ttribute.
I've been trying to make a pesudo RPG like game on renpy using python coding. I'm mostly using this as a basic testing ground and organized my code into different rpy files. But right now, I am having trouble trying to tie these skills from the subclass to the main class. Here's the character class ...

Tension [Mystery][Supernatural/Urban Fantasy][Horror]
Nothing in this demo or Synopsis is final. Everything is a subject to change. This is a very rough alpha build to showcase my experience in Ren'py. I hope to offer players a chance to have a unique experience that will make for an interactive adventure game than a typical visual novel with a dynamic...

Hey guys! Its me again. Sorry I've gone dark the bast five months. Chances are I might be again soon until the Summer. But in any case I was able to get some Coding done (while hitting blockages on others) and show off a few images I've worked on. Note some of these images are not final. Check the s...

Back to the drawing board!
Hey folks! I'm back. After this semester came to a close, I finally decided to devote my time and effort into writing and designing in City of Ants. I won't have a progress update just yet and I don't wanna make any promises I can't keep. But I'm glad to be back.

So, I've been a lot busy doing some heavy writing. And I don't mean short stories or Ren'py writing... but like a book. And it's been holding me up for quite sometime. xD I've hit a few snags in City of Ants but I feel that the game is coming along nicely. But having to balance college life really d...

Re: City 25/City of Ants[Mystery][Sci-fi][adventure]
Right now it's basically a concept to test out my own limitations on Ren'py coding. But I've a few ideas for antagonists in mind and how threatening they can be. One of the ideas in mind is that they work in a way that anomalies do that they can affect reality space and possibly time. This also exte...

Re: How to interact with the environment
I am a very ambitious man who don't know how to quit. xD Truth be told, I can't code for shit. But Ren'py seems easy for me for simple game coding. Though I could be wrong.
Also thanks for the link~!

How to interact with the environment
Ya know how in certain games and visual novels like Ace Attorney, you've given yourself a bit of non-linear movement? What can I use for a similar concept in Ren'py? It's basically for the game I'm making where it involves more point-and-click adventuring melded into a visual novel. Like, there's so...

Sup folks! SticksNTricks! Need some tips and pointers for a non-linear interactive visual novel. Basically, it's like a point and click adventure molded with the visual novel mechanics. But lately, I'm having difficulties finding the right stuff and I want to be sure I'm capable of utilizing it with...

Re: Basically? Looking to wirte!
Oops. I may have worded that wrong. What I mean by western is usually how I tend to write the characters and the story. But I can still write eastern style story telling and characters.

Basically? Looking to wirte!
I'm familiar with basic Ren'py coding given how quick and easy the simple concepts are. But I'm mainly interested in working on creative writing, stories, dialogue and narration more often than not. I've got experiences in the writing field and will gladly help whatever I can wherever I can. If you ...
