Re: [Hire] Music composer / sounddesigner

Out of curiosity, do you have any experience creating any synth-wave music or anything along the lines of downtempo?

Re: Climaxes and Player Knowledge

For example, say your story is about an assassin beginning to feel guilt. The climax will be the choice to kill someone and accept that she is a killer, or let the target go and realize she's more than just a dog of the military. If a player wants to go on the "Changed Woman" route, the choices the...

Re: Climaxes and Player Knowledge

Thanks for all the input XD I was thinking of adding a sudden bad end mid-route in my story if certain points weren't accumulated, but to prevent it from being inconsequential, I'll try to give it more weight. Though, I think it shouldn't be so long as to make the player think there's more coming. ...

Re: Climaxes and Player Knowledge

I am glad that you brought this discussion up because I am only halfway through my project since I started it two years ago; wondering if I am wasting my time writing a bad arc that nobody ever accepts as the true ending. My final thoughts on the matter is this: 1) You have a good ending that one wo...

Re: Writing process

So, I will start to write the plot of my personal VN; however, I still need to learn to make VNs (obviously xD) and creating all the assets. So, when writing; its better to write it like a script (as will be shown in the VN) or should I write like an actual novel? Example; there is a script writing...

Re: [Comedy][SciFi] Spy x Scientist (Open)

I like the whole idea, spy/undercover work has always intrigued me. I wouldn't say my strength is in to much comedy but I do have a small example of the type you are looking for with a bith of both a small comedic and serious environment. Being inside the characters head and having them speak approp...

Re: RAINPORT (In Development)

Only complaint is why did I have to download it? Couldn't we have played it on the web? I'll look into this, I don't know how to do this yet, if you have any info/link would be appreciated. Thanks for the feedback. :) Hmm it was made with ren'py so I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with how exactly you get...

Re: RAINPORT (In Development)

I think it will be a nice little story. I don't trust the pastor, something fishy about him. I can feel it. Even when I went back and was rude to him the second time he was still cheery...yep real suspicious. There's not much I can say about it since it was a rather short intro but I am interested i...

Death In Daylight [Action/Conspiracy/Futuristic/Cyberpunk]-recruiting

-2118 The world has changed for the worst. Survival of the fittest is king in 'Neon Tokyo'. Agencies control different districts of the area with their own laws and rules to follow, whats left of society is nothing but a pale comparison to what it once was. Scholars are no longer needed, only those ...

Re: Silence In Daylight

Hey there! So I checked out your demo, and I have some feedback for you: 1. Writing "Promises" - The demo largely focuses on introducing the school, and how it is a unique and special place. However, that alone is only mildly intriguing. If you really want to pull me in and make me care about this ...

Re: Visual Novel test

All of the text from the VN Demo cut-and-paste into the PM (so I can stick it into an Open Office file, rather than have to type it from the demo). oh so you want me to open the scene file with notepad or something so you can see all texts at once, am i correct? If that's the case sure but you will...

I'll look through it and provide notes if that is something that you are interested in. Send me a PM with the text and your e-mail and I'll send it back with track changes. ...also u...

Re: Visual Novel test

The game freezes for me after only a few text boxes - right after the main character says that we're at his/her stop. There were some sentences that were awkward and/or grammatically incorrect. I would suggest finding a proofreader. Thanks for taking a look. After the main character reaches his sto...
