Re: LUNACY [FREE][Lunar Game Jam][Fantasy/Sci-fi][Surreal]
Oh wow! Thank you so much Anh, I'm really looking forward to hearing your feedback about LUNACY!! I'm glad that the Presocratics caught your eye, they have some...interesting theories about the universe (which I incorporated). And I really wanted to include more CGs! But I had to meet a deadline an...

Re: How to make your own Backgrounds for VN's
If I understood it correctly that site was only a collection of background CGs from visual novel games, and examples of original images which were used as a starting point to create them (mostly photographs). Most background art, these days, is made over 3D models as you can see in this video... Th...

<t>This looks super interesting! ^O^ I love the fantasy theme. And honestly, you guys got me at the logo of WINTERSANDS, there. I love the typography and gradient. ~^^~<br/> <br/> Also the protagonist looks like she has a lot of character! Like Zelan said, I think it's a nice turn, but it's not just...

Re: RenPy HotSpot Tool
So have version 2 of Renpy Hotspot Tool and now you can save the hotspots you lay down to load up at a later time. Also, the script will be generated into a rpy file to be modified to your liking. Also, when you attach a script to the hotspots it will turn green to indicate a script is attached to ...

Re: Wilder [GxB, GxG] (fantasy romance) [COMMERCIAL] DEMO UP
I just got around to play your demo, Sonnet. Fist of all, I have to say I've played all of your games and love the way you make them with the players' experience in mind. With a lot of these visual novels, you don't get to choose how to act, and when you do, there are always these right and wrong ch...

Re: Night at the Hospital [PPHS Jam] [Some Dude Romancin']
About the endings, it is a shame I cannot access the site :( but as I follow on this thread, there are three endings? Would someone be so kind as to spoiler tag them in thread? EDIT: So I got 'Possessive' and 'Vacuum' but not 'Spectre' - advice? Hey, I managed to track down the guide . Here are the...

Re: Technical question about writing a script for the game
Hey guys, I have a technical question about writing visual novels here. How do you write your script? Directly on Ren'Py or on another processor then "program" it later? I was thinking that since writing Ren'Py requires a lot of quotation marks on each of your sentences among other things,...

How do you write your visual novels?
Hey there,
It's been a while since I'm back to making visual novels with Renpy. There's one question that's been nagging me: how do you write your novels? Do you write directly on Renpy or write in a normal, linear form then program it later?
I'd love to hear your take and experiences!
Cheers,
Anh
