I've pretty much decided that there is about 12-15 poses and emotions per character + CG,

Thanks for all of the advice.

I was just asking the amount to make the emotions seem more lifelike, with stuff such as variations in the emotions, or just a list of emotions that I'd have to draw for.

So I was making a VN and I was just wondering, how many emotions/outfits/poses would be the normal or optimal amount for such a game,

Thanks my dude, that was very helpful. I was just advancing very slow, I think it took me like a month to do the prologue of the story due to that issue. I will give it a bash and come back later to tell you if it worked or not.
