Re: How do you find motivation

I'm very late, but with projects (VNs, writing, etc) I tend to talk to about it with people who aren't involved with the process. Especially when I feel motivation going away. People are genuinely interested when they hear you're doing something creative and unfamiliar to them (as VNs are for most o...

Re: What was the first visual novel you played?

The first game that I played and knew was a VN was Professor Layton and the Curious Village! But for romance VN/otome game was probably the English patch of Tokimeki Girl Side after hours of researching to emulate and patch games ^.^ I'm really glad VN and otome games are getting more attention more...

Re: ♥ ♠ ACE JAM 2019 ♠ ♥ (January 1st-31st, 2019) - 2nd round of the game jam about games with asexual characters!

This sounds really cool! I've been looking for ace character-focus games, and what better way than making one of my own ^.^
I hope I'll find the time to participate, but I wish anyone who wants/plans to do this the best!

Re: Options reveal route direction?

Personally, seeing the different route options laid out like that seems to make the actual decisions ("Get to know you better!") useless because players might start not caring about the action the choices lead and only focus on the path they want. That's not to say that having route marker...

Re: Would you be interested in a Ren'Py Dialogue Editor?

I think this sounds like a cool idea! I think it would help make ren'py feel more accessible to writer who don't want programming special cases to get in the way of writing. I know I was kind of reluctant to write directly into the game files at first because I thought I either had to program as I w...

Re: This is This and That is That [Kinetic][Drama]

I think this has a lot of potential if you can clean up the writing and deliver on the tension you've set up. Hello! Sorry for such a late reply, but I just wanted to say thank you so much for such a detailed comment. I'd quote the whole thing, but I don't want this reply being super long. Seeing y...
