[Open][Unpaid] Looking for artist for one CG for a (practically finished) horror VN
We created a short horror game titled "Class Reunion Chat Room" (CRCR for short) for the Spooktober VN Jam and have since worked on an updated release that will be made available for free on Steam. The game is practically finished except for one CG that we'd like to implement. You can chec...

Re: Making your novel's trailer look good
This looks really nice so far! One thing to look out for is the readability of the text. Oftentimes it uses a bright text color with a bright outline on a bright background. I can understand why it is the way it is since it's supposed to be cutes-y but I don't think its cuteness will suffer much fro...

Have you already checked if the self voicing volume is bound to the "voice" channel?

Does queue music load the queued file into memory?
My question is pretty much what the title says: Does the queue music command load the queued file into memory? I've been looking into caching audio for our Ren'Py game for a while now since we're using a more complicated audio setup that's delay susceptible and we want to decrease the chance of audi...

Caching audio and gapless playback (future plans?)
From what I understand caching audio and gapless playback are both features that are not supported in RenPy, is that correct? I'd appreciate if anyone could let me know if they've maybe stumbled upon these topics or have heard PyTom mention them before, maybe as features that he might look into at a...

Re: (Help)It is impossible to make a Loop with mp3
As a composer how do you deal with this issue? Do you just not use mp3 or other lossy codecs? Do you use an application to trim it in the export? The standard audio format that's usually used is .ogg (not just because it loops seamlessly but also because you don't have to worry about license stuff,...

Re: How does one properly use the "Tight" audio command?
Thanks for your reply @Jackkel! I've tried different variations of the python command version, but unfortunately haven't gotten it to work yet, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know if you have more luck than me if you get around to trying it out! And no worries, I already know about multiple c...

Re: How does one properly use the "Tight" audio command?
When I swap between BGM tracks without silence between them, I usually do something like: play music <2nd track> fadein 1.0 fadeout 1.0 This should fade out the first track, then fade in the second. This isn't quite what I'm looking for since I'm looking into crossfades specifically, but this is st...
