Re: Anyone used macincloud for publishing iOS of apps?
I cancelled my subscription before the trial ended. I have a feeling that I will get charged for the week anyway. It didn't solve the issue that originally prevented me from submitting this app long ago and it was painfully slow. I have seen virtual machines and although they can be slow at times, t...

Re: Anyone used macincloud for publishing iOS of apps?
So I am doing the trial right now, so far it is very slow, particularly if you move a window or anything that requires an animation of some sort. It is quite painful. I am still trying to install all the keys. It is painful, I suspect it is the machine it is running from, though it could also be the...

Anyone used macincloud for publishing iOS of apps?
Hey! I am considering using a services such as macincloud (or another alternative) for publishing iOS versions of my apps, I have used Xcode to publish apps before and I have an apple developer account, but I do not own a mac computer myself right now. Has anyone tried it? What was your experience w...

Re: What software can do this?
I should think you could do this in Blender's Video Sequence editor, Shotcut, or even OpenToonz. Which are all open source. All three have different strengths. Shotcut is probably the simplest but it would just be able to animate the text position. Blender and OpenToonz would allow for further anima...

Re: Issues returning to main menu from a screen using simple python and code within a label
...When tag is changed to menu the following code doesn't work: on "show" action OpenURL(...) This is actually the whole point of this parental gate, so that line is important. ... Sorry, for late reply, and you also can try timer 0.1 action OpenURL(...) repeat False Thanks again Alex! Th...

Re: Issues returning to main menu from a screen using simple python and code within a label
I have found a workaround, I kept the menu tag so that return would work and then, since I could not get 'on show' to work when using the menu tag, I got rid of the thanks screen and used the text button to directly open the Appstore. Users can then use a separate return button when finished. Thanks...

Re: Issues returning to main menu from a screen using simple python and code within a label
Try to rethink this system... Thanks for your message! I appreciate it! Originally I had a different tag, changing the tag to menu (and making the submenu full screen rather than a pop up) solved one problem (go back buttons will work) and introduced a new one (link will not open). When tag is chan...

[Solved with a workaround] Issues returning to main menu from a screen using simple python and code within a label
To cut to the chase, I have an issue of a pop up menu in the main menu that has a problem, I need to click return multiple times to exit the pop up, and even then it goes to the game rather than the main menu. The reason for this I will explain below/ The main menu has a button that should open the ...

Re: Is renpy good to use with Daz3d?
Poser is an alternative to Daz3D that according to this forum thread has hair and clothing physics. It is paid software from the get go. Alternatively you could find a character model for Blender (or follow a tutorial to build your own) and do everything you need there. The more control and power yo...

Re: iOs Video Formats - Two versions of game REQUIRED???
I just started publishing to iOS very recently, but I don't use video in my games. Andredron has posted a lot of really useful information for both iOS and Android in the past, so he is probably right. Let us know if it works for you!

[solved] No sound on Renpy iOS apps
Not so sure how many people have given iOS a shot, but I just tried building two of my games with Xcode and publishing them to an iPhone, and both games are lacking audio (there should be both background audio and audio for each line of dialog but nothing can be heard). The games work as they should...

Re: How much is my coloring style worth and which style would you prefer?
Left style seems like soft light, which is more common. Right style is harsh light, like they are on a stage with a spot light on them. Characters should look like they are affected by the light in the particular setting, it is a matter of knowing when to use each style. Sunny days are also more har...
