Writing For A Mood
Good evening everyone! This isn't really much of a question for help as it is a question asking what everyone else does to write for moods within their stories. Please don't be shy and put whatever input you'd like! :) For myself, I like to play certain types of music that matches a scene I'm about ...

Re: sprite making critique
I think you're at the level of where you can charge others for sprite making! Your art is very clean and you have things set up nicely. When figuring out prices, usually it's best to see what others put up their prices as. Alternatively, you can see how long it takes you to work on a sprite set per ...

How do I get back to doing commissions?
Good evening everyone! Many of you are more skilled in business practices and have done commission work longer than I have, it would be wonderful to hear your responses. Note! This is not a post asking for commission work. As artists, I believe we can all agree that making money from our art while w...

Re: When a character design has no face, is animation needed?
Thank you for the in depth reply, Fuse! You never notice how many mistakes you make when it's just you and your friends looking at your animation! =v= Your words will definitely improve my animation in the future. It seems that I'm not yet skilled enough to animate fluid body movement though. For no...

Re: When a character design has no face, is animation needed?
Thank you for the responses and reading through my post! It means alot! After reading and thinking over what everyone has suggested so far, I want to reply to specific parts. I see twelve characters that are very difficult to animate (lots of complicated details). This is going to sound silly, but o...

Re: Spicing up limited animation on character sprites
Animation can be good! But I think they should be used sparingly. If every character is animated during an event it could lag your game or lag the player's game.

How do you distribute your games via crowdfunding?
Apologies if this is the incorrect place for this question! But I'm interested in knowing how people who reward their games on crowdfunding sites send them off?
I think some people use steam keys, but what do you do when steam isn't an option? Dropbox?
Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day!
