Option two is my actual recommendation, however. Instead of commenting out an entire label, simply add a jump at the end of the previous label that skips right over the label entirely. Remove the jump when the label is ready. Alternatively, place the label/s at the end of your script and make sure ...

Within the community, I think you will find that a lot of the people would prefer richer dialogues. In a sense, we want to be able to connect to the characters you will present in a dating sim, so that we can take interest in them and pursue them over the course of the game. Once you fix the sprite dimensions, I believe that will fix the problem. Any cropping software can probably fix it so long as you maintain it as .png so you'll have the transparency.

I'd say a dropdown list is a good way to manage the resources. Will the list be specific to each category, like BG, Sprites, etc., or will there be a universal artist dropdown list on the main page too?

You just have to use the "loop" tag on your code to make it work. To stop looping, use "noloop" You can check the items under the Play Statement here in documentation. https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/audio.html But as far as I know, the music channel automatically loops back to the start of the song ...
