Re: NaNoReno 2019 General Recruitment Thread
Hi, I'm a writer looking for a team! This will be my first NaNoReNo and I'm looking to experience developing game in short time, so at least I knew what to say to my student the next time they hit a roadblock developing with Ren'py. I'm equipped with basic Python programming, although I'll have to g...

Re: An Edelweiss' Resolve [GxB] [Urban-Fantasy] [School Life]
@chocochino- Downloaded this a couple of days ago and went through hurriedly; its well done and I look forward to going back and exploring the story in depth. Unfortunately, I am dealing with a severe family medical emergency, and VN's are getting pushed way down the list of things to do. Good job ...

Re: An Edelweiss' Resolve [GxB] [Urban-Fantasy] [School Life]
Hello, Akemi-Takashi! Thank you so much for giving me so much input in how I should develop this game. Since this was written under deadline, I do feel there's so many plot holes I couldn't fix and ideas I could have expand. Hopefully, when my final project ends, I can expand the plot, find some art...

Re: An Edelweiss' Resolve [GxB] [Urban-Fantasy] [School Life]
Thank you for playing! Johann's ending was kind of hanging because teacher-student relationship is quite a dangerous thread to walk on, especially when the game is going to be submitted to teachers. Anyway, I'm surprised anyone would call him cute! Well, I also think he's kinda cute after his past g...

Re: Question with < or > statements
You need == for an a equals b comparison! This sign = is used to assign value to variables, not to compare variable's values. Also, mind your tabs ^^

An Edelweiss' Resolve [GxB] [Urban-Fantasy] [School Life]
Hello! This was initially a college group project I did for a class, and turns out I really like writing for VN! Since this is my first project (and unbeta'ed), I want to ask you guys how should I improve it. Please give me the critics I need! AER logo - Copy.png After living your whole life as a no...

Re: Otome Sprites [4 Males | 2 Females | Updated 3.1.16]
This is a blessing! My team has to produce a VN for college project, but none of us can draw... then we found your free sprites! Thank you so much, these are so good!

And now for something a little bit different... oh and, they're sloppily rendered so you're all encouraged to edit / alter it to suite your needs and style... again no strings attached... just take them... "POOF" (Disappears) Goodness gracious, Uncle Mugen, right when I'm in desperate nee...

Re: Games you learned to code from or would recommend learning from
Since my lecture did cover VN in class, he told us to reverse engineer DDLC as part of the lesson. I don't know if this practice is illegal in your country, but if it's not just try it. Learning how other people manage their own code is really interesting and the more you play, the more you understa...

Re: Lemma Soft Forums Reception Desk
Thank you for the suggestion! Hopefully I can manage to finish this one ... since most of my project submission are last-minute work :') Do you have art students at your school? You might be able to do an exchange of talent with them, programming a website for them or a game idea they want to do in ...

Re: Lemma Soft Forums Reception Desk
Hello! I've just created my account in response to my ... circumstances. One of my lecturer assigned Ren'py-based VN as our end-of-term project (again). While in the last term I managed to learn basic of Ren'py (and thanks a lot to you, guys), the result was really rushed and unsatisfying. This time...
Re: Guestbook
Hello! I'm chocochino, female, living in Indonesia. You can call me choco. Recently my lecturer kept assigning Ren'py-based VN as my end-of-term projects. Last term I was able to learn the basic and submit my task on time (and this forum HELPS A LOT so thank you guys so much!) but now I'd really lik...
