We made a decision on the musician we are going with (we'll be going with LeetMusic) and we want to thank everyone who applied. However, this isn't the end and Elysium plans to publish more visual novels in the future, with our next VN being announced to the public in the spring.

Also, if I write something like this:

label start:
     sample = 5
     # insert game logic here.

Will sample be equal to 1 or 5 once I load the save file if I put all the logic of the novel AFTER assigning that variable to 5?
