English/French Translator for hire! (Free/Paid)

Greetings, I am a French college student going through an English studies course and an aspiring translator who hopes to work in the sector of audiovisual. One of my dreams is to translate video games for a living, and I hope that, in finding requests and commissions here, I can enrich my Curriculum...

Re: Am I being too ambitious for a newbie?

People just want to make sure you are prepared for when that three month project you start turns into six months, then nine months, and then you realize it is probably going to take another six months after that. You'll be tempted to quit, and unlike a job where you are forced to keep going to pay ...

Re: Am I being too ambitious for a newbie?

I must say I'm a bit hurt that some of you guys assume that I'm not aware of how much art takes time, for someone who commissioned to artists on several occasions by the past. ;) Still, I appreciate you gave me a better idea how what goes on behind the scene! Ever since I played my very first Dating Sim (which was ironically DDLC), I have grown the desire to create an anime-like romance where the player is put in the shoes of a male high schooler ...

Re: Sounds of Her Love [Romance][BxG]

This is looking terrific, from the art and aesthetic to the voice acting! I'll give it a shot and make sure to tell you what I think of it! ;) EDIT: 'really enjoying it so far! I'm not the most people person, but the interactions and development feels natural. The warm colors and the presence of Wel...

Re: Plot Ideas

Hi!

Of all the synopsis, I'd say n°2 is the most interesting, as it has the potential for quite a thriller and a romance, if both protagonists experience well written growth through the conflict.
But, as everyone else says, you should go for the concept that hooks you the most as you write it!

Re: In The Thick of It [G x B][Romance/Slice of Life]

I might not be the guy who's best to give you advice, but the least I can do is tell you what I think of it! That's a quite interesting concept that would stand out well among graphic novels. Although I don't guarantee you everyone will rush over it (though I hope), it is a game that would definitel...
