Re: Alone (First VN release!)
Hey, just got done playing this, too. It was very surreal, very strange. But I enjoyed it immensely (despite the fact that I had NO clue what was going on!). It was really interesting! Endings: I take it there are only two, yes? Unless I missed one (or more). Both were pretty...messed up. I can't de...

Re: Mail Order Bride
This is actually pretty good! Very cute and entertaining. And here I thought I wouldn't like it too much because I've never been a big fan of American history. Always thought it was so boring. XD;; But I really like this. Both characters were likeable. =) Art has its own charm to it that I found gro...

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
@IxIon: That's not bad for not being a tablet. I couldn't draw with a mouse worth anything. It would look so bad. XDDD;; @ebonyskies: Yikes! Those fingers scraping against that eyeball looks painful (at least, if that's what's going on--wouldn't put it past me to be retarded XD). As for criticism......

Re: Ahoge - an art question
I really had no idea what an "ahoge" really was until I looked into it some just now. So that's what that bit of hair is, yeah? Hehe. Nah, I can't say I really use it for any of my characters. But, honestly, I wouldn't get too wrapped up about something like that, either. From what I read ...

This thing is amazing! I finished and got all the endings already and I love this. The art alone makes me want to cry only due to the fact that I'm nowhere near that awesome and am insanely jealous. XP Seriously, though, everything was so nice to look at. I liked the customized menus and everything....

Re: Memo [1.03]
She calls him up to the roof to let Seji know who she is. She tells Seji her name. Seji still doesn't recognize her. That's the point where she gives up on Seji. [/spoiler] This isn't really true, but that's depending on which path you end up. If you end up on the one where Liz makes Seji her "...

Re: Memo [1.03]
Liz is trying to move forward by forgetting about the past and focusing on the present. Talking about the past would be counterproductive. I don't agree with this. I'm convinced that Liz wanted to meet Seji on the roof to possibly talk to him about the past. Or to talk to him about something, anywa...

Re: Memo [1.03]
What would be the point of that, exactly? She wants the Seji from her childhood who would never forget her. She finds out that that Seji doesn't exist and never existed. She's feeling betrayed, she's feeling stupid for ever trusting Seji, and confessing to Seji that he managed to hurt her is probab...

Re: Memo [1.03]
Hello, my thoughts on the matter: My impression from the flashback scenes was that they were pre-adolescent when they were separated - maybe 10-11 years old? It's amazing how some (but not all!) people change when they enter adolescence. I've a bunch of nieces and nephews in the 10-16 year old rang...

Re: Memo [1.03]
I just got done playing through this (and getting all the endings, too!). I haven't played enough VN's to really know, but I suppose I could go with the people saying that the story seems done already, or that it's really familiar. I've seen it in other mediums, certainly, but as far as VN's go I th...

Re: >Artistic Works Circum-Critique Thread
Ok, I know photoshop. ^-^ Here's a quick fix: your linework looks a little washed out- try duplicating the layer it's on a few times and it will darken up. Or, you could go into Image -> Adjustments -> Levels and slide the center input level triangle to the right. Screen shot 2010-02-04 at 9.03.53 ...

Re: Triangle Of Death
I just played your game and I thought it was nice. Quite fun to play. ^^ The story was an interesting one--really liked the premise. It was pretty simple but that makes it enjoyable. Some spoiler filled thoughts/observations (writing them down as I remember them): Ending 6 is labeled wrong. The &quo...

Re: >Artistic Works Circum-Critique Thread
@Blue Sky : I can't give you a really technical critique but I'll tell you my thoughts on it (though I wish I could provide spiffy red lines--sadly, I'm not that good at the technical aspect of drawing ^^;;): Pros : I like the eyes. They give a cute look without being too big and making her look to...

Re: Help me by answering some simple school-related question
If it were up to me? I wouldn't want to go back there. Hell, I'd be happier if I could just erase the whole lot of it. You know what? Erase high school and middle school years, while we're at it. I have too many regrets in both times to even know where to start. The only school-related fond memories...
