Re: In Orbit [GxG Otome] [Romance/Sci-fi]
We're having a small hiatus of sorts pending some... things.
The artists aren't officially on hiatus though, so I'm wondering why very little is happening in that department.
Anyways, no worries; the project is alive.

Re: When making OCs and their backstory just....
You need to be careful not to go too far with this. Yes, your story needs drama but it does not all need to be in the grimdark past, nor does everyone need a tragic past to brood about. Also keep in mind that when you put something like that in the past , that character likely has had many years to ...

Re: A "Message"?
Then that is exactly the type of writer you should be. If you worry about adding a "message" in order to make your story more "attractive," you'll be betraying yourself as a writer, and that might show in your work. I strongly disagree with this statement. It is the writer's cho...

Re: Commission Woes
The problem is, for many of us, Music is an arcane art and we have literally no idea how it gets made or how long it would take.

Re: Commission Woes
A good source of quality royalty-free music is Musopen, which hosts public-domain classical music. The big plus in using famous compositions is that nobody is going to care that it's reusable music.

Re: Writing trans characters and other genders in dating gam
It's worth keeping in mind that it varies from person to person. A lot of "binary" trans people may be uncomfortable performing any sexual acts at all whilst pre-op (from your post I am assuming your planned trans characters weren't going to be post-op?), others may want to engage in sexua...

Re: Commission Woes
I commissioned this composer and when I requested minute changes such as "remove just the percussion", etc, they were completely unable to. Never provided much of an excuse, either. I also asked them to provide a new track with the rythm and beat from another track and again, they did not ...

Re: Commission Woes
Since this composer was right here in the Lemma Sort forum recruitment section, it's highly likely others were. I think that in the very least you should confirm the identity of the suspect in private to concerned individuals that they may research it themselves. They have a right to know they've be...

Re: Commission Woes
I would very much like to know who this composer is. You might not be the only one who got scammed (yes yes, I know, not proven guilty just yet), just the only one who found out about it.

Oh, something that might actually be useful: Swipe down (with two fingers?) to hide the text box so you can look at just the sprites or CG. (with a slide down effect?)

Re: Touch Gestures for Visual Novels
Swiping across the screen causes dramatic wind to blow, blowing the characters' hair in the wind. (Complete with dead leaves flying across the screen)

Seems like we might have a winner! I'm going to throw in twelve more votes for "Digital Storytelling".
