Re: Antagonist as a Love interest?!

Antagonists are often underdeveloped - so if there's something to give that character a bit more complexity - like a romantic interest - then it's to go for!

Re: Hatred for humanity

Bear in mind that although there can be several rational - if unpalatable - reasons for developing a misanthropic outlook, there's no particular reason you have to create a well-reasoned, internally-consistent psychological construct within the mind of your villain. Arguably the most beloved villai...

Re: Everything matters?

Hi everyone, I'm currently working on my second project Alliance (WIP: https://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=49065) and I want to make it very interactive i.e. give the player the opportunity to influence the story with every decision, similar to what Life is strange has done. ...

The problem is I'm having a hard time fleshing him out as he tends to get overshadowed whenever any other character i...

Re: Staying motivated when projects aren't successful?

You can't imagine how many times a thing like this has happened to indie game developers. The guys from Samsung has said during one of their conferences that, if you've an indie game dev and your first project fails, try the next one. Then the next one. Then the next one. If you know for sure that t...

1. Russian (my native language)
2. Ukrainian (can't avoid it if you're living in Ukraine)
3. English (school)
4. German (school - successfully forgotten completely)
5. Latin (college - also forgotten, apart from In Vino Veritas - that's just a motto)
6. Spanish (college major)

Re: Writing visual novels that are geared toward adults

Hi everyone. My cast is primarily over 20 years of age and I'm wondering if there is any difference between writing for children and writing for adults as the target audience. Another question I have pertains to content. There is romance and some scenes contain physical contact such as kissing, hug...
