Re: How do I get a project to accept a modified script?
if you click "launch" on ren'py itself, it should reflect any saved changes to the files. you don't launch an .exe until you've built distributions Huh, alright. But I've launched my projects a few times and that didn't work. So, what should I do then? Sorry for sounding confused. I just ...

Re: How do I get a project to accept a modified script?
Regarding your answers: 1. There might be something missing ( tell me what I need, cause there's the script. And/or I'm in the wrong place. I put Ren'Py in my D:/ disk's personal folder, as well as its project folder. The files I have are: log.txt project.json and in the game folder: gui options scr...

Re: How do I get a project to make an .exe?
Anyway, I've tried it. Apparently, the .exe I made still thinks I have the default script, when I've modified it! I don't understand?? I don't know what exactly am I doing wrong, and besides... I hate the default script with the nonexistent Eileen due to how frustrating it was to try and fix it befo...

How do I get a project to accept a modified script?
( NOTE: If you see the reply headers, that means I had to change the title to be more specific of my problem. ) [/b] I've tried launching, using the "force recompiling" option, deleting the original script, and yet, I have no idea how to actually playtest if there's no .exe for where my m...

Oh, oops.
And I did remove the original script. I did delete the .rpyc of the script though, and it still didn't work. What can I do? Do I have to cut the main script file, and paste it back?

And by "default script", I mean the one where Eileen says that the user created a new Ren'Py game, and that they need assets (images, sounds and music) so they can publish it. I've tried using the "Check Script (Lint)" option, and that didn't fix the problem, either. I have no id...
Re: Guestbook
Hi, I'm WannurSyafiqah74, but you can call me Wannur, and I'm kind of a beginner at Ren'Py. I am new to this forum and it seems cool. I am developing the text beta of my first game (and it's a dating sim). Sadly, I am busy with other social media such as Discord, so don't expect me to be super activ...
