Personally, I don't think much of side images. Less faces on screen is less distracting. The protagonist should be visible only if you're talking in third person. It makes no sense to see yourself on screen if story is in first person, unless it's also in past tense! :D Well the story is in first p...

layout of art within the game

Ok so i've played a few visual novels/dating sims and am wondering how to layout my game. It's a BL adventure romance visual novel and most of the art work is finished. But I'm wondering which is the best way to lay it out... Should I go for : a) still sprite images on the screen with the background...
