Re: Seeking programmer and if possible, BG artist

I think it will be a challenge for me, particularly the organic types, but there are plenty of resources that I can use to help me out. I will need a crap-ton of references, but I don't mind searching the internet and helping you out with things like that. I will PM you and send you some examples of...

Re: Seeking programmer and if possible, BG artist

What kind of backgrounds are you looking for? It would be great if you could supply a list of BGs that you need along with some references. This will help people decide if they want to help you, and if it's within their capability to help you. As for me, I'm willing to help, if I can. I've been usin...

Re: Searching for an artist for a large project

Lol. It is ironic because I had also previously asked something of the community. It didn't work. I feel that should enforce my opinion more, perhaps. But the fact of the matter is that if you're looking for a high-quality artists that will donate their work to your project, which they know next to ...

Re: Searching for an artist for a large project

Judging only by the facts that you are not telling us much about your project, and that this is your first post as a registered user on LSF, this thread is more of a recruitment thread than a development thread. Regardless of whether it is either of those types of threads, your prospective artists s...

Re: "Step Eight" [flash-fiction]

Yes, only 3 CGs. The piece is not that long. And, I believe I've gotten someone to help with the art already; they're just on a small vacation so I need to be patient. 8)

Re: Taking Requests for Background Photos

Is the interior of a hotel suite possible?

A room with computers. Bathroom (both public and private). Perhaps a basement or place for laundry?

Re: Worst or most disappointing game you ever bought

The worst game I ever bought has to be Shadow Hearts . When I first got it, I played for several hours hoping that it would somehow get less suckish. It never really gave a formal introduction to the plot, so I was like, "Whaaat?" for the first half-hour, and then I couldn't really figure ...

Re: WIP, Demo - RedFlavourMicrobes

I'm assuming this is your first creation using Ren'Py, in which case I would like to wish you good luck! From what I've gathered lurking around, its always best to start out small and simple. Your description is a little vague, but I'm guessing that if you were to give anything else that the whole t...

Re: Video games are from satan!

I really hope its a parody. There are so many closed-minded people out there. True, video games 24/7 aren't good for children at all; by all means, limit your child's playtime. But for God's sakes, give him a break. Like there wasn't a doll or a toy that you played with obsessively as a child? The m...

Re: Happy endings?

I think that there's a big difference between a 'happy' ending and a 'good' ending. A happy ending ends, like Koveras said, with the conflict resolved in the protagonists favor. A 'good' ending, to me, is just one that is appropriate, or realistic given the circumstances. There's a lot of grey area ...
