Aha! I checked the reference section again to look for more details on gutters and offsets, and did this as a result: style.bar.left_gutter = 10 style.bar.right_gutter = 12 style.bar.thumb_offset = -10 and it fixed itself. Thanks, heh... although that was pretty dumb of me. ^^;

I try to place it inside my first init block in the script, where all the styles are, and it just doesn't want to work. I believe transitions are enabled, if the "library.has_transitions" variable is what you mean by that... because if not, I'm probably missing something.
