Re: Anime is dying, ㅋㅋ..

He means anime is dying because the newer animes do not have good plots as older animes. There are some new anime which are good, but most can't compare to good old animes which have awesome plots. Look at Neon Genesis Evangelion. Then look at the anime we have today. Then you'll think "God da...

Re: What would you like to see in anime?

How about an anime with high school girls playing high end PC games and being elitist about it?

Re: Visual Novel Tech Improvement - Motion Portraits

Re: Anime is dying, ㅋㅋ..

Strange Journey is hardcore? When? Atlus just took the Etrian Odyssey engine, slapped some megaten enemies into it and repackaged it. I'm a heavy Megaten fan and even I passed it up. They used the exact same engine as Etrian Odyssey. It's like an RPGMaker game where someone just swapped sprites and ...

Re: Anime is dying, ㅋㅋ..

Animators make $3 an hour, they get what they deserve for releasing the same thing over and over again.

Re: First person writing

Ask Stephen King. He also put it succinctly on the Stephanie Meyer case. All first person writings are Stephanie Meyer-esque crap we don't need in the hobby. First person writing shows a lack of real skill and imagination. Catcher in the Rye is nothing more than an egotistical man's boorish escapist...

Re: Nightlinker's Video Game Rant.

You shouldn't blame the fans for sequels.

The only reason we suffer from this "sequel-itis" is the economy. They can't afford to make new IPs so they do sequels instead.

Anime is dying, ㅋㅋ..

Article in Question- http://goanimetv.com/?p=668 I looked at my friend's status on Skype, and because I'm dreadfully bored right now, I actually read this, and I facepalmed. I facepalmed all the way to China. Anime is not dying because of pirates, it's dying because it has a lack of good writers. Ac...

Re: Battle Engine?

What I said makes perfect sense, and, no offense, but you're really derailing me with huge walls of text. I'm skimming over your posts and I'm most likely not following this properly. I over stepped though, because I was assuming that those participating in this thread knew about games in general an...

Re: Battle Engine?

Jake, man, you make me think you lack the ability to understand sarcasm. Also he didn't give you a fully detailed explanation of Resonance of Fate, and you aren't a gamer, right? You probably wouldn't be able to appreciate the true value of these things. Valkyria Chronicles, which I've beaten two ti...
