Re: Errant Heart - Beta 1.03 <-Revised 4/11/11
Ahaha, I was about to say that. Oh well, I'll finish it ASAP, and then you can expect my feedback xD I got a half-decent start on it already and I've got a few days off in front of me.

Re: [Demo!] The World is Made of Paper
I'm showing interest I feel like I'm a little late to the party, but if you want, I'll try and give as much feedback as possible.

Alright, now I'm downloading it :p Expect a fairly lengthy critique by tonight. I like to do things like this, so I'll try to give you as much feedback as possible.

Re: Episodic games.
Well, to answer your questions directly (I don't have the time to go into much detail right now)... -I would possibly be satisfied with the first game, but that would only be in the case of the second game not being available to me. Like, if you pulled a 'Oh yeah, sorry, project was dropped' I'd say...

Re: Balance between comedy and seriousness?
It really all depends on how you pull it off. Somehow, Clannad has some of the funniest scenes I've seen in a VN, but it would also rank among the most tragic things I've ever seen. I forget the actual term for this (there really is one, I swear) but it's something along the lines of putting comedy ...

Re: Really Quick survey on Gaming Tastes
1. How much of a completitionist are you? a) I just finish the game once and be done with it. b) I try to get all the endings, but I don't bother to unlock it all. c) I unlock every bit of them! I feel I've done nothing if not. This is important to me, especially from indie games. I want to wring ev...

Re: In need of writing critique
Well, I don't really have the time to read all of your drafts, but I did read the most recent one, and I'll give you my thoughts. The first thing that sprung to mind was 'Adjectives.' While I realize that in a Visual Novel, a lot of the adjective use and descriptors should be taken out in favor of j...

Yeah, you'll just need to use another editor. Photoshop, or really anything better than MS Paint usually supports transparencies.

Re: [Aug 1st - 7th] Weekly Practice Thread
Just wanted to pop by and say that this is an excellent idea. I've sort of been looking for something like this, since I'm plagued by writer's block a LOT. No really, a whole lot. However, I can offer my critique as it stands right now, and take part personally whenever the next thread comes about. ...

Re: Endings?
Being a huge Type-Moon fan, and also a huge Key fan, I'd be lying if I didn't say that I love tragic and bittersweet endings. It sounds a bit strange, but I know that a story has a good ending and good development if I find myself close to tears at the end. It means that I've grown attached to the c...

Re: Hilarious mis-types in your writing
I've made this one twice now, but most recently:
Elly: "What? What is it? Spit it out already. I'm a very busty woman."
Glenn(MC): Yeah, yeah, I know."
Because of the epic follow-up, I was pretty tempted to leave that in there. Of course, it should have said 'Busy woman.'

Re: Anyone Interested in Online RPing?
I almost think it might be better for one person to record everything into a VN that we might do on, say, a forum. Instead of having multiple people editing the same VN, you could have one volunteer who can keep up with what is happening with the RP and making it into a VN that will probably be less...

Re: Anyone Interested in Online RPing?
Well, obviously we don't want to clog up the boards here. I'm sure it would be easy to set up a free forum. I'm too tired to find something right now, but google is friend to the people :p And yeah, I'm a bit experienced in large-scale projects, moderating, directing, coming up with plot, etc (I've ...

Re: Anyone Interested in Online RPing?
I'm up for this, though as a warning, I haven't RPed in years. That said, I still like to consider myself a competent writer, so I've probably still got a little juice left. As for setting, I do love me some cyberpunk, though I'm pretty much the opposite of picky these days. I'd also be up for moder...
