Re: What is the scene that you watch (re-play) most?

I find myself compelled to reread Midori Days and Slam Dunk about once a year.

Also, I never get tired of watching the last episode of Urusei Yatsura.

[NaNoRenO 2010] The Silent Wolf

I am proud to announce the release of The Silent Wolf by myself and Izdubar as our contribution to NaNoRenO 2010! This VN has been both a pleasure and a nightmare to produce. We didn't really start until about a week into March, and the majority of what you see in the VN was developed solely in the ...

Re: Anyone Interested in Online RPing?

I would love to do this. I greatly enjoy RPing, though so far I've mainly stuck to DnD 3.5 IRL and haven't done much in the way of online RPing. I have about a year's worth of experience as a DM, but I don't know if that would be helpful with moderating an online game. I wouldn't mind giving it a sh...

Re: NaNoRenO 2010

As development of our kinetic novel The Silent Wolf (we have a name now! Major progress.) continues, more and more delays keep cropping up so I have to ask: how long after the "deadline" can we release and still call it a NaNoRenO game?

Re: NaNoRenO 2010

I'll probably be late as well. Two days ago my writer scrapped the whole script and started over, and I still need to find music, along with inking and coloring three more sprites.

Re: Animes you just can't stand

The only anime I've watched that I just could not bring myself to finish was 2x2 Shinobuden. Unfunny gags, unappealing ecchi elements and downright creepy side-characters (a perverted version of the Wal-Mart logo) all turned me off.

Re: List software you use here

So far for VN creation I've used Google Wave to collaborate with my writer and he uses it to make notes and what not so others can easily make edits. I also use FruityLoops for music creation stuffs. As for image editing, I haven't really done much and my artist does his art by hand and scans it in ...

Re: Most precious game in your collection?

My most precious game currently is my Zelda Ocarina of Time and Master Quest GC disc, though if I could find a copy of the PS1 Lunar Silver Star Story collector's edition that would give it a run for its money.

Ellipsis

I'm working on my NaNoRenO game and wanted some input on something since this is my first attempt at a VN. I'm wondering about what I should do to handle ellipsis. For instance, the following: "Well...aside from the dead bodies." "They knew too much about...everything. They needed to ...

Re: Lunar: Silver Star Harmony

Well...about that. I don't actually own a PSP, nor do I know anyone who does. I just bought it for the soundtrack and the bromides. I also hope that by supporting it, they'll actually come out with a good new Lunar game instead of just releasing the same one over and over again.

Lunar: Silver Star Harmony

I just got the limited edition and was wondering if anyone else here has played it yet, since I haven't yet gotten a chance to. Is it any good? How is it compared to the original? I really love the Lunar series and am excited to see how this one pans out.

Re: Replay Value?

I think the main thing that makes a game replayable to me isn't really the extras outside of the game, but rather the possibility of seeing a whole new perspective of the story. If an alternate route is done well, then it will feel entirely different than any other routes, and hopefully clear up so...

Re: NaNoRenO 2010

My writer's Laptop just got it's screen destroyed by a nasty fall. However, it may be a blessing in disguise since he has been engrossed in Clannad the past few days and I was beginning to think that he'd be slacking to play it.

Re: Your most favorite obscure game?

My favorite games that I never hear anyone talk about are Meteos for the DS (Tetris in space!) and the entire Lunar series. I'm actually running a DnD campaign based loosely off of Silver Star Story (though the players don't know that  ) As for other media, my avatar is from a manga/anime serie...

Re: Worst or most disappointing game you ever bought

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World wins (loses?) by far. I started following the game's development as soon as they released the first trailer with Misono's song. I was so excited for it for so long and when I bought it, I was rewarded with mediocre voice acting, a hard to like protagonist an...
