I tried to replace the files just now. It fixed the loading screen issue, so I think there was something wrong with it.
Well, I think for now I'm not gonna do an image map menu for my game, and stick to the default main screen. I don't wanna break anything.

I compared both the screens.rpy - one from my game, where loading isn't working, and another one from a test project in which everything is fine. For some reason, my game doesn't allow me to see the screen which allows me to load save files.
