Bad Accidents Beta is Delayed
When I release the game, I want it to be a full experience. If I were to release it right now as-is, it would be a crappy game experience. I am going to work on it for a few more months, and if I feel like I'm ready to do a public drop, or another demo, I'll post again.

My game, Bad Accidents, makes it's first full Public Beta debut next Thursday, January 23rd at 4:00pm
This has been a long project in the making. The game has almost no art, and I've kept out BGM in all cases except for Easter eggs when applicable. The game will drop at 4:00pm ET next Thursday, and I'll be showing off gameplay from 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Reddit's Streaming Service, RPAN, as well. Once ...

Re: Bad Accidents Playtesting
Hey, congrats on getting a demo put together and sharing it with people! That's always a great first step to take as far as making a game goes, and it can be harder to put yourself out there than people would expect haha. Even without the art/music assets, I think there's still a lot you can get ou...

Re: Bad Accidents Playtesting
Alright everybody. I have done some advanced proofreading, as well as weeks of writing. The result will be livestreamed Thursday, January 23rd live on Reddit's Streaming Service, RPAN, where everybody will get to see the whole story for the first time ever, including the spoilers I cut out of this d...

Re: Bad Accidents Playtesting
So I played through the Alpha Playtest file for Windows, and here are my thoughts: * If you need placeholder backgrounds and character sprites, the Creative Commons forum page here on Lemmasoft has some you can use. It can really enhance your demo if the people playing through can get a sense of th...

Re: Disable ctc on splashscreen
Thank you guys so much. This was really annoying me because the splashscreen is there for a reason, and it shouldn't be skippable. I also had some other things that shouldn't be skippable too. Question: does the hard pause block the code from moving? Because I still need the splashscreen to work dur...

Help with what kind of instruments I should use
Trying to make a horror VN with a calm, mostly upbeat sound to it. Anybody know what kinds of instruments I should use? I want to try to do a live soundtrack, because I have acoustic and electric guitars, a ukulele, and drums, but not sure what kind of sound to go for. Any chord progressions I would...

[free] programmer looking for character artist for VN
Not sure atm how much work it would be. Honestly, if you just did the actual facial expressions and body, I could probably do the complicated bits, which would probably make it a lot easier. I have full character descriptions as well as an idea of what kind of expressions I want. If you want to try ...

Disable ctc on splashscreen
Can somebody remind me how I disable skipping the main splashscreen?
Actual skipping is disabled, but clicking still skips it.
