Sorry for necro, but I've found this code and sadly, on 7.3.5, it doesn't seem to work well.. On slowest speed, it only plays the first ever character of each word, and is completely out of sync. I have standard CPS set to 20 in options.rpy, and text speed is set to lowest possible. Can someone help...
