[CLOSED][UNPAID] Looking for a composer for a free dating simulator fangame!

Hi hi! As the title states, we're looking for a composer for an otome game based on a game of an already existing game series, Xenoblade Chronicles! [FREE][OPEN] Otome Fan Game Background Artists Needed!

We're looking for a volunteer that would like to help make backgrounds for a fan made otome based on Xenoblade Chronicles! Having context about the original game is not a requirement at all! We're looking for a particularly bright color palette , in a similar vein such as this! https://cdn.wccftech....

Re: How can you judge what is a "reasonable amount of time" to be working on a game?

Many people here already mentioned the main point : plot outline is very very important in team work. The first thing I consider after creating a nice premise is "How will it end?". If there's multiple endings then " What is the best and worst way it can end?". Then I would go u...

Re: How can you judge what is a "reasonable amount of time" to be working on a game?

I think it helps a lot if you genuinely enjoy the process of making the game. Even if you are excited by your game's concepts and ideas, if you get distracted every time you try to code, draw, write, etc. for your game or you keep putting off the development b/c you'd rather do something else, then...

Re: How can you judge what is a "reasonable amount of time" to be working on a game?

Hi! I'm a mobile game developer at a mid-size company. I'm also a project lead. From my exp, besides all things mentioned, it's really important to plan everything out (and allot extra time in case something goes wrong). By everything, I mean everything. The artist will be estimating how long they ...

Re: How can you judge what is a "reasonable amount of time" to be working on a game?

One way to "scale back" is to reduce the amount of content to be made: Complete the plot outline if you can. Figure out the minimum amount of plot, dialogue sprites, backgrounds, music etc. to have an acceptable visual novel. Make it. Look at the content, the amount of time spent, the sta...

Re: How can you judge what is a "reasonable amount of time" to be working on a game?

It depends on the time you can reasonably devote to a given project. Something to avoid when you're working in your spare time rather than on a project as a full-time job is to assume that you know exactly how much longer it will take to fully complete your game. In my experience, even if you have ...
