Mmhm, no problem!
You should work on a full-scale VN/KN /no1
I'd read it

Showing background images.
Ugh, I've run into another problem. I knew I shouldn't be the one scripting this thing /sigh Anyway, here's what I'm trying to do. I have a placeholder background for this novel and I cannot for the life of me get it to show correctly. Here's what I have init: # Declare images below this line, usin...

Re: Nightlinker's Video Game Rant.
The problem isn't with the developers so much as with the publishers. There are lots of really creative and talented people in the game industry making crappy games because that's the only way they can obtain funding. This is also true, but it still doesn't justify the truth that video games are on...

Re: Nightlinker's Video Game Rant.
Yeah, and I agree with everything you're saying, really. Maybe people like us should be running these companies xD

Re: Default Productions presents: Tragedy
Against my better judgment, I'm releasing a small SAMPLE of writing. Please keep in mind there is zero art, zero sounds, and I haven't seriously checked over it for grammar and misspellings. But, if you want to get an idea of the general mood of the novel, click the link below. (Only for Windows, s...

Re: Nightlinker's Video Game Rant.
If we're talking about companies, things aren't just as simple as anymore... money, obviously, takes priority more than ever. Would you invest money on business that have ROI on 50 years while you must spent billions? Those people who runs the company (not ones who make the game) are just simple bu...

Gave this a spin, it's pretty quick but I liked it. Very gritty and dark, great for a first attempt \o/

Text display question. [RESOLVED]
Hey guys.
I was writing today and I realized I didn't like how the text just pops up after you click. Is there a way to make it so it scrolls across the screen, liks someone is typing it as you read?
It's probably just a setting I skipped over, but any help would be greatly appreciated. <3

Re: Anime Convention - Artists Alley
Here in Seattle, there were quite a few artists there, I just browsed and picked up a couple buttons. (A Trigun and Zelda one)
It was actually almost a 50-50 split of original and fanart. I even found some Ragnarok Online prints
I was happy.

Re: Nightlinker's Video Game Rant.
Alright, so my quote tags aren't working, so I'll just adress the general comments. Shooters do suffer this a lot, that's true. And it's not exactly an issue if they reuse things that don't have anything to do with the series as a whole. For instance, in all the Halos you play as the Master Chief, t...

Re: In search of a true motivation.
Mind if I enter my two cents? In my opinion, starting on a project is something that you should feel ecstatic about. If you don't feel super-crazy about it, chances are you will either abandon the project or you will end up with something you're not satisfied with. And like LUVER said, it really is...
