Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I can't spend more than a few hours in the company of others before wanting to retreat to my room. This is actually quite funny. Many people who I talk to say I'm a pretty outgoing person, because I laugh a lot (funny how that works) and I'm rather talkative. I'm also the sort who'd chat you up ran...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I have a feeling I've lost a few job opportunities because I don't seem to be someone that prospective employers like enough. (It's not as if I behave poorly during interviews, etc.) I don't know what they think is wrong with me, but I'm neither a bad person nor whatever it is that apparently makes...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

It's kind of amusing how Disney classics turned from loveable classics any kid growing up should see to demonic films furthering the patriarchal system and oppressing women.

Re: Why can't I finish my game?

Unfortunately this is not always the case. Isn't that more of an issue of hiring the wrong people then, rather than saying it's the hiring party's job to motivate the freelancers/employees to earn their pay? It's kind of absurd to ask someone for pay for your work, and you need them to motivate you...

Re: Why can't I finish my game?

I'd hazard that if someone's getting paid, it's really part of their job description to be motivated to earn their pay.

Re: [BxG] Marry, F*ck, Kill [Drama, Dark, Pyschological Horr

I really don't think him knowing the crazy situation and keeping it a secret is a "power fantasy". It's easy to ask somebody to have sex. It's easy to try to have a girl who likes you start a relationship and fall in love. Neither of those are inherently "power fantasies" here. I think what is mean...

Re: tuesday [Kinetic] [Slice of Life] [Short] [Free]

I've read this story somewhere before, in an IRC channel somewhere long forgotten. I liked it back then as well, and I still like it now. It's been quite a while, though, so it's a bit disappointing it's exactly as I remember it. What first appear to be grammar errors or sloppy writing become intere...

Re: Beyond The Boundary, Chapter I [short KN] [mystery]

I was cleaning out my HDD and realised I had downloaded this some time and neglected reading it. Tonight, I decided to change that. To those who are reading this, I may spoil things. My humble apologies. I was instantly reminded of the manga "Bokura no Negai". I can't say I was reminded in the good ...

Re: Naomi [#JamForLeelah2015][Kinetic][Trans Protag]V1.1 Onl

Yeah, inappropriate questions galore when faced with a new situation. The exchange went something like, "I have to tell you something. I'm... actually a girl." "You're a girl." "Yes." "... With a dick." "... Yes ." "... But no va─" " YES. " I liked the touch of Naomi being afraid of watching her own...

Re: Naomi [#JamForLeelah2015][Kinetic][Trans Protag]V1.1 Onl

I think that was a strong piece of writing. The attention to detail in changing up the clothes was good, which is why I'd say I'm a bit bummed the hoodie sprite was used when pajamas were worn, but that's really not a big thing. I actually know someone who's super anxious, so that was a nice touch. ...

I mean the Q. Save, Q. Load etc in the upper-right screenshot, to be exact. I can read the huge white options perfectly.

Re: Naomi [#JamForLeelah2015][Kinetic][Transgender Protag]

Two of my friends recently told me they're trans, so the subject's become rather interesting to me lately. Hope you finish in time~

It looks good so far, but the buttons in the bottom-right are hard to read due to the colour.

Re: ★★★~NaNoRenO 2015 Recruitment Thread~★★★

I like writing. In fact, I love writing. Especially slice-of-life, but I also enjoy mystery. I don't like writing horror, and I hate writing comedy; I think you can be funnier when you're not aiming to be. What I also like is working together. In fact, I'd love it if someone bothered with figuring o...
