Re: An otome game where you are NOT the heroine.. good?
I really shouldn't be visiting forums when I have things due today, but I love side characters like mad and have always wanted to make a visual novel. I guess my comment can count as a warning that I may borrow this idea if I find the motivation to work on this.

Re: Educational Visual Novel
Wow, Evergreen! I've thought about attending classes there a couple of times. I don't know about the other students, but I would be tickled pink to see my professor use Ren'Py.

Re: Editor/proofreader seeking unpaid work
Unfortunately, I don't really have anything that represents my current abilities To be honest, while it's very good advice for writers and artists putting themselves forwards, it's not immediately obvious how you'd provide examples of proofreading or editing work anyway... to get a really good idea...

Derek There's something about Derek's pants-in-pocket pose that seems so... skeevy, hahaha. It works for his character. Also, he's so... selective about his dye job; did he do it himself or go to a salon of some sort? He's adorable when he blushes. So out of his element, ahahaha. It's a shame this g...

Re: Editor/proofreader seeking unpaid work
Thanks for the advice. I've actually received two offers, so I'm feeling good. Unfortunately, I don't really have anything that represents my current abilities, but I'm willing to provide prospects with samples over PM. I'd hardly call myself a pro, though. I don't have that mentality, or the confid...

Re: RE: Alistair (Otome dating sim/stats raising visual novel)
I also thought it's a typo, it'd probably help if a particular character was constantly talking / streaming text in typos (so the player knows it's intentional) or perhaps some other character could comment on it? (oh, now the posts are edited so this doesn't make sense anymore) Anyway it's a brill...

Re: RE: Alistair (Otome dating sim/stats raising visual novel)
I only just started playing, and I'm pretty impressed with the level of customization put into this game. The bouncing logo and accompanying sound effect was also very cute. I might write some more about this game later after I finish. I'm having fun so far, though I have a feeling I'll regret it on...

Re: Editor/proofreader seeking unpaid work
I received an offer via PM, actually. I'd love to look over your script; I'm only uncertain about speed, that's all. \o/ Just send it to me when you're done.

Re: Editor/proofreader seeking unpaid work
I'm willing to consider it, but I'll place precedence on commercial projects. You're certainly welcome to send me a script whenever you're short of hands. I can't promise anything, that's all!

Editor/proofreader seeking unpaid work
I will be graduating with a Bachelor's degree in English soon, and I should probably get something on my resume. Experience is everything, after all. I'm probably shortchanging myself, but I'm interested in providing commercial game developers the opportunity to have their scripts proofread for gram...

Re: RenAi Blogger Released!
Nice to see this has been released! I actually frequent your blog and some of the others', so I got some/most of the jokes. Impz's "Oh my" expression just made me laugh so hard, hahaha. The "bad" choice for your path made me pause for a second and contemplate whether you cheated ...

Re: Would you play a VN if there was no romance involved?
The story I have in mind is what happens to Cinderella after the "happily ever after". It's a piece written by a good friend of mine. I'd play that. :) Sounds interesting. I'm already making the assumption that it'll challenge the Disney version and go in line with something akin to the B...

Ooh, finished, is it? I'll probably be purchasing it sometime soon...when I'm feeling less poor after having had almost all my DS games, along with my PS2, two PS2 games, and laptop stolen. XD

I actually like the puzzles, but yeah, I haven't been able to solve the cell phone one. Something tells me that this is preparing me for Trace Memory, which I bought from someone recently...

Re: Builders' Mind
I got a game over the first time (maybe more than once) before achieving the first, possibly screwing up again, the third, screwing up again, and then the second ending. That was really interesting. I actually kind of want to read about Bert. XD You know, Mayumi's quest for a man would make a funny ...
