Re: Beginner level tutorial

I also would like to thank you, rinrin! This came just in time when I'm about to restart my project, and I find it quite useful. Thanks for writing it and I'll look forward to more chapters!

Re: Emi's Art Corner, feel free to leave a Critique

Actually, I think by adjusting the ear will fix the problem for the eyes. It's because the eyes are too far away from the ear that the space in-between makes the eyes look smaller, at least that's what it seems to me. The nose does seem a little long but I thought it was well drawn. In any case, I l...

Re: [WIP] NOSTALGIA -fragment of memory

>\Nish/ Good luck on your game, even though we have a similar concept surely our games will be very different from each other. ^^ Than you! And yes, although our concepts are similar, I'm pretty sure it's going to be very different. (For one thing, my story doesn't set in a school and the mc is in ...

Re: [WIP] NOSTALGIA -fragment of memory

Yeah, memory is a rather used plot device, but as long as there's something interesting to give to the audience, you'll be fine.
(FYI, I'm also working on a story with the mc having memory problems. Eh.)
Needless to say, I like where this is going as well as the art. Best of luck!

Re: [WIP] The World is Made of Paper

I see, the sketch-effect does make the characters having a unique feeling to them. Or, you could just harden the outline of the character, instead of hardening everything. Don't know how that will effect the style though, you should probably keep the way it is if you think the current style fits bet...

Re: [WIP] The World is Made of Paper

What do you use to ink your sprites? I think by hardening your lines will solve the problem of having rough spots.
It looks quite good though, honestly.

Re: Favorite Anime Themesongs?

This is a hard one, I've liked a lot of the openings and endings... But, the most recent ones I've been listening are: 1. Ghost in the Shell- Resurrection III- Reincarnation 2. Air - Tori no Uta 3. Macross Frontier - Northern Cross Edit: Oh, and also: 4. Pandora Hearts - Parallel Hearts 5. Tegami Ba...

@sporkysan:

Yes, like IconicMomo said, you have to
Leave the castle. Not by the front gate though, by the underground passage where you met Hyde.

Re: Castle Chase (RPG Maker VX, Windows only)

Great game, really cute too. Managed to get all the endings at last, and I think I like Skyler and Aydin the best.
Don't you dare touching Skyler and Monica, Hahm!
@sporkysan:

I think the ending you're missing is
Monica's ending.

Re: 'True' endings

That's an interesting question, since I was thinking about it and how it correlates with my game as well. I've always thought that a "true end" isn't necessary a solution to solve all problems, but a view to the bigger picture. You can still choose your own adventure and romance, but in th...

Nice list! Princess Waltz sounds interesting, as well as Kira Kira and Phantom.
And I knew Ever 17 would make the top three, it's really a good game.

Re: Painted Walls -- Horror

Since I don't see horror games around here too often, I was pretty excited for this and gave it a whirl. I have to say, very good attempt at making the first game! I liked the atmosphere and how it gives off a dark feeling. However, I do agree with the previous posts about the commas because while I...
