Next problem... Now that the remove a name has been taken care of, there is this little thing about that huge empty space on the left side of the screen. Is it possible to put the NVL text in the center (not Justified center) but rather move the whole thing a bit to the left? Thanks in advance... I...

Resurrecting this for one question : you say mid-text speed changing is not feasible (and I see why), but could it be settable per text-screen? I have to wonder if you could implement text-speed effects with style tags. Thus... e "My morning caffeine hasn't kicked on yet... {speed=50}oh, wait,...

K. I'll leave it unimplemented for the moment then.

Thanks Tom!

Well, you should never set it by hand, since that would override what the user set himself. And you can use config.default_text_cps to set the default value. You can use the (admittedly undocumented) slow_speed argument to Character to force the speed for a particular interaction... So I'm not sure...

IIRC, there was something like this way back in the 4 series, but I removed it when I rearchitected the music system around 5.1. Your best bet is to drop the volume. It had a bunch of problems dealing with savegames and the like. Something we do support is to lower a music channel's volume, and the...

Re: Shake your screen, not your bootie

It's not perfect yet (it seems to shake mostly from top-left to bottom-right and it doesn't register anchors ;o;...) but if you want to put some "OBJECTION!" in your future games... *puts one of his character sprites into a blank template and tries it out* Bwehehehe he he he... :~) Oh man...

Music pause/music resume?

I see we have a nifty music pause function http://renpy.org/wiki/renpy/doc/reference/functions/renpy.pause?highlight=%28pause%29 ...unfortunately, it appears to be mentioned, and not documented. Bother. I'm sure it's come up in one of the Version X released threads... but the forum search function h...

Re: Transition Naming Scheme (Input Requested)

Right now, Ren'Py has a fairly large number of pre-defined transitions. However, each of these transitions takes a fixed amount of time... and that amount of time varies based on the transition in question. While the game-maker can define their own transitions, this is a fairly skilled activity, an...

Renpy default font?

I have to ask, since I've been mucking around with fonts recently, but I lack basic typographical ID skills, I have to ask...

Re: Question about Anim.Filmstrip and requesting working exa

There will be 10 frames of animation involved here all neatly arranged side by side in a single image and each single frame is 800 pixels by 600 pixels. The whole image itself will measure 8000 pixels by 600 pixels and each individual frame will be showed for about half a second starting from frame...

Not quite sure where you dump something for general public use- but this is some orphaned content for a project that's not happening. As it's somewhat amusing, I thought people might want it.
