Re: The Pirate Mermaid [GxB][Fantasy]

Tan, tan, tan, tan, tan.

There are a million MCs with fair skin! Do something different! I think she'd look awesome tan, and it makes sense if she's a sea-faring lass!

Re: The Pirate Mermaid [GxB][Fantasy]

Iiiiii have such a thing about mermaids. Like, I'm a little obsessed. It's probably unhealthy.

This looks particularly adorable. I'm especially in love with her mer-bird. Good luck on this, I will totally be keeping an eye on it!

Re: When you play a dating Sim, do you play as 'yourself?'

It depends. I think I make a decision about what kind of person my character is when I start the game and make decisions based on that. Like, it really depends on the game. Sometimes I'll play a really Lawful Good character and then sometimes I'll be totally Chaotic depending on what kind of mood I'...

Re: This Is Not a Love Story [BxG, GxB, GxG]

Your GUI looks really amazing. And I really dig the multiple POV approach to the story. I think it'll be really neat to see a single night played out from three different people's perspectives - really tight, concise storytelling.

Good luck!

Hey!

Hats off to you for trying something that's way out of your comfort zone. And good for you for taking feedback from people. :3 I'm sure if you're this dedicated it'll come out fantastic. :)

Re: Visual Novel Writing Contest (planning thread)

I think a month is a reasonable amount of time. It's a pressing enough deadline to make it seem like a contest without being so ridiculously short that people are staying up nights to finish.

Ah! Thank you so much for those links! I'm definitely going to try image mapping for my GUI. (So not a programmer either, but I figure I can work hot-spots with enough trial and error.)

Re: Club Shuffle [GxB]&[GxG][Romance, Comedy, Mystery, Fanta

Hey~! I'm kind of in love with your artwork. It's majorly adorable, and I have a feeling that the sparks between Gabe and Vivian are going to be pretty intense. (Two stubborn people butting heads = <3 ). Also, random note, I kind of love how Vivian is a little curvy. It's a unique trait in Otome her...

Re: Visual Novel Writing Contest (planning thread)

Hey! I think this is an interesting idea, but I'm a little wary of the whole mission of the thing. It seems to me like this isn't going to be a contest of "the best writing" but instead "the best idea", or even "which idea people like better". I mean, two different writ...

Re: The Black Lands [BxG] [Gothic Drama]

Hey everyone, thanks so much for the replies! Totally see what you're saying on the legs - I will fix those up! I think you're right, papillion, that the Black Queen is especially suffering from "where did my hips go" syndrome. Definitely the black names on the black text box is a problem,...

Re: Dusk ~A Moonlight Romance~ (KN)

Thanks, guys! :D Please tell me Quilete is a pun on Quaaluds (anti-anxiety medication). Because that's ALL I could say when I read that. I kept thinking Jason (or Jordan) was from the Quaaluds tribe and it cracked me up immensely. Quileute is actually the name of the tribe in the book (and in real ...

Re: Dusk ~A Moonlight Romance~ (KN)

Oh. My. Lord. That was BEAUTIFUL. I mean, Twilight practically makes fun of itself, so bravo to you for making a hilarious little parody here. My favorite recurring jokes included the heroine's reference to her "brown-hairedness" (which was turned into pretty much every part of speech I co...
