Re: Falling Cherry Blossoms - A Work in Progress
Thank you Lekh! ^_^ There's only like 5 styles of eyes... so yeah D: ~~~~~~~ The demo has been released! Taken down because I'm just updating it quickly! It's just day one. In my opinion, the story may be flawed and it might be very confusing. Please forgive my stupidness for that! <3 There is one s...

Re: Falling Cherry Blossoms - A Work in Progress
Following everyone's feedback, I have changed Kat's and Mai's eyes (and Kat's hair got longer! Eep!). Shion's eyes may be changed later on in the following week when I'm free at Work Experience (*cry*)
Enjoy ^_^
(The demo should come out soon).

Re: Falling Cherry Blossoms - A Work in Progress
Well you know, you could just draw a pair of eyes yourself and paste it on... even if you say you "can't draw crap", doing ONLY the eyes might be something feasible. I can try, so thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately for me, that may take awhile as the eye's are the part I struggle...

Re: Falling Cherry Blossoms - A Work in Progress
You can change the eyes, but they look extremely unconvincing, with like the eye colour then literally an undefined blob in the middle. I'll look into it, so thank you for your feedback!

Re: The 'If' Statement
Two things come to mind: - Firstly, Python depends quite heavily on indentation, so if you have any funny characters (carriage-returns without newlines, maybe, that your editor isn't showing? Odd non-normal space characters?) then they might potentially mess up the parsing. Did you copy and paste a...

Re: The 'If' Statement
Aha, I see what you mean.
I'll give it a shot in just a moment and edit this post with the result. But the if statement is used much further down from where the actual $ Yes = True is, in a totally different label. Is that the problem?

Re: The 'If' Statement
Bleh... I'm still having trouble. I initialized the flag at the beginning of the label: label start: $ Yes = False Then after the user clicks on the option, there's this code: label Yes: $ Yes = True Then I use the if statement like so: if Yes: scene Black with fade But I'm getting the Traceback err...

The 'If' Statement
Ahoy ^_^ I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to use the 'if' statement. Earlier in my script, I wrote: menu: "Yes.": jump Yes "No.": jump No And then later in the story, I wrote: $ if Yes == True: This happens... blah blah etc But it's not working at all? Instead of laun...
