It's configurable, double-click the brush tool and a prompt should show up. Uncheck "Keep selected" and "Edit Selected Paths" (This is also where you adjust how much auto-smooth you want) You should be good to go from there. Not only is this method faster (like...a lot) but it's ...

Open Canvas works fine for me as well. I use Photoshop for pretty much everything though. Mainly due to the fact that I know every single shortcut by heart and can quickly swap between tools and such without a second thought. It's not that Photoshop can't do what Open Canvas or Painter can, it's jus...

Haha, make that four, I'm in.
I'm no artist, I just have lots of patience and the magic that is known as the undo button at my disposal. I should be able to come up with a design at least. XD

In my experience, people never draw better with a tablet than without. I draw infinitely better with a tablet than without...haha... As for shakiness...yea, can't fix that...unless you work on a MASSIVE scale. The larger you work at, the easier it is to get away with shakiness/messy lines. Once you...

Uninteruptable pauses are good for faking action scenes and such. Skipping to the end of those by accident may spoil the mood or whatever. Why not just make it so when you're skipping over previously read text the pauses don't kick in? I figure that would be the best of both worlds. Most people goin...

Oh, that's an easy fix. Go into your tablet properties (Start Menu => All Programs => Wacom Tablet => Wacom Tablet Properties) From there, select "Pen" from the "Tool" bar. Click the "Mapping" tab. Under the "Screen Area" dropbox, select monitor 1. There you g...

Well, lets look at this in a broader spectrum shall we? Remember back when RPGs were pretty much clones of Dragon Quest/Final Fantasy? Remember when Adventure games meant simply going from place to place and solving the occasional puzzle? Notice how many games are incorporating many aspects of diffe...

I own a Wacom as well. The smallest Graphire 2...yea, it's like, 2 generations out of production. And you know what? Still works like a charm. I've been might cruel to it through the years, and it certainly shows physically...but mechanically it hasn't failed me and will continue to serve me well fo...

Personally, I'd rather it be a set character. Reason? When the character is made out to be "you", you better dang well provide a choice I would make. Otherwise the main character is just an empty shell, not a defined character and not "you" due to the fact that your choice may no...

People and text won't bother me, I'd mostly just use these photos as reference to draw my own backgrounds.
I'm picky about immersion. :P

Many thanks!

If you give a set of sample images I'll be more than happy to make a few.
Unless I can find them in the Ren'Py package...which I can't, so they're either not easily obtainable or I'm blind. Probably the latter.

I just need to know general sizes and limitations.

That's uh...quite a bit...XD Really, the majority of poses will be varients on what you listed. On a side note, I just noticed a benefit to prospective artists. This can be used for quick and easy reference for poses and such. With the vast amount of poses you plan to add and a little creativity thi...

These are great!
For straight usage, filtered usage, or reference for drawn backgrounds.

Don't suppose you can grab more nature shots can you?
Or anyone for that matter.
